All the fun of the chemistry lab without the pungent smells...
Combination of ball and stick molecular models for Hydrogen, Fluorine, Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulphur, Chlorine, Bromine, Phosphorus, Iodine and some metals. These atoms have a variety of configurations of single, double bonds and have various link lengths to demonstrate these bond arrangements and retain the correct proportions (e.g. double bonds longer than single bonds but work out with the same inter-atomic distance in a benzene ring for example) There are also smaller carbon atoms with links to make crystal/lattice arrangements and you can make a 60C Buckminsterfullerene (football) molecule which was one of the first things I had to make with these smaller carbon atoms... Took my back over 30 years to my A-levels...

Great kit for chemists
I got these mainly for my son who studies chemistry, but also for myself, as I always had a love of physical chemistry in school. The pack has a good quantity and range of common atoms, and a lot of different bonds. All the pieces are easy to put together and take apart. A short guide is included which includes a few sample molecules, and is pretty good. The box is pretty good, and is stackable with protrusions that allow multiple boxes to lock together.

Ich habe diesen Baukasten meinem Sohn geschenkt und er ist wirklich begeistert! Die Teile halten prima zusammen so dass sich auch komplexe Modelle sehr gut bauen lassen! Lediglich die Modellübersicht könnte noch schöner gestaltet sein, vielleicht als Aufkleber im Deckel? So würde sie auch nicht verloren gehen können. Das ist jedoch nur ein geringes Manko daher: 5 Sterne. (
