I'm a professional jeweler. These are good. They are comfortable to hold and I prefer the bent head (be aware of straight heads). I use high quality 2mm sterling silver crimp tubes. The initial press makes a deep "groove" that can then be pressed into a nice, tight, neat crimp. The jaws of the pliers are aligned. I've ordered others on Amazon (due to needing quickly!) that did not perform well and these are by far the best of the bunch.

I should have bought this a long time ago instead of trying to use needlnose pliers.

This was the perfect crimper for jewelry making. It's great quality and I can see this lasting forever. I always put it back in it's case for storage purposes. Definitely worth it for the price.

Used in bead threading to secure the thread near the clasp. There are 2 indentations, one for squashing and notching your crimp beads and the other for 'folding it over' on the crease. I am still experimenting with technique but this is very easy to use.

Been using it already over a year. It's the same size as the Beadalon "Standard", to close crimp tubes it behaves good, but I feel it is slightly superior to Beadlon when comes to crimp beads size 1, it defintely makes a better job. Also, the thickness of the nose is a tiny bit thinner than beadalon which makes it ideal to work when there's not much space in the jewelry you'r working on. Overall it's an excellent tool.
