Let me just say... the shipping was fast. Now the packaging...There was that gross feeling cotton in the soil so it didn't spill and secured with packing tape. Then--- get this, they put it into a lunch paper bag. GENIUS!! No tape or anything that causes ripping any paper and damaging leaves or stems on plants. Just snug as a bug in a rug. I've ordered from etsy and private sellers and online nurseries and they pack it like you're potentially releasing an airborne pathogen. So much tape or staples, bubble wrap. All that. Now I understand it's just a lil cupcake in a bag of you're thinking of a 4in spider plant. Not a tall monstera albo that I cut a whole leaf off when trying to cut the tape off the paper. Ugh...I cried for so long on that little $75 baby albo. Anywho... This lil cupcake had the curliest hairdo, so cute! No leaves that were black or brown. Tips were healthy. Soil was damp. She's perfect. I was expecting so much worse because I have been let down by many reputable nurseries. I have heard great things about Hirt's Gardens though, so I have it a shot. I'm glad I did. She's been one of my wishlist plants and I can't wait till she becomes a momma and gives me some bay-bays!! I can't comment on roots or anything and obviously I just got her. I don't plan on repotting her since Bonnies and spider plants like to be root bound. There's no roots coming through the drain holes so, unless she's struggling, I won't repot until spring. Thanks for providing a quality plant! She's a bit lighter than the photo but I'll get her into some light and look forward to her growth.

I bought one last year and she was smaller than this. I am very pleased with this one the size is perfect. The color is very vibrate the soil was still moist. It’s been over a week and it’s growing well and still looks beautiful. The price for this beauty was well worth every penny. I will be ordering from this seller again.

Dlooks like they stuck a bunch of cuttings in a pot! Didn’t really have root system or anything. I put half of them in water to try to develop some roots. The other half already died or is struggling to stay alive. Don’t do it!

I just received my spider plants in the US mail today. The potting soil was dry as to be expected, but boy, these little guys were exceptionally healthy and roots were strong. I am quite sure that they will take the transplanting very well. The sticker on the box instructs the postal worker to deliver to the door, however our mail person put it in the mailbox anyway. So be sure to keep an eye on when it is going to be delivered. Excellent quality and shipped fast. Will purchase from this seller again.

Poor girl! She was squished into a tiny box, so her leaves are crinkled and broken, and her tips are mostly brown. I think I can bring her around, so I'm giving 3 stars.
