I've had so many timers but as soon as I seen these. I had to have them and are super easy to use. You won't regret them. Many others are too complex. These are easy to use. I'm going to a controller next and won't need them. But if your just starting out well wort the money.

Bought this to control my Viparspectra light after it ended up not being compatible with my Controller. Timer was a little tricky to program but once I got past that part, it has been operating flawlessly! Another amazing product from Vivosun.

Just received my fourth two-pack of these timers. I have tried several brands and models over the years, this model is the only one that I can pick up and program without consulting the manual. It also has one button to turn it off and on, which can be tricky on some models. That button cycles between On, On Auto, Off, and Off Auto, and these statuses are show on the display. Auto means that the AC outlet on the timer activates automatically according to how you've programmed it. So if you don't want the timer function and just want to turn the lights on or off, for example, press that button till "On" shows in the display. After that, press it twice to turn it off, and twice to turn it on again, day in and day out. When you want the timer to control the outlet, press the button till the display shows On Auto or Off Auto. Unlike some timer sold at Amazon, there are not a lot identical model with different brand names; all the times I looked for them, there was only one model, one seller, the only choice was to get a single unit or a two-pack. I don't even have a intended use for those I bought on the most recent purchase, but since they were on sale, I got them to put aside for when I do need them.

Very easy to use and set up. 20 different settings so you can program what ever you need. Dual outlets controlled by the timer are convenient. Comes with a battery backup so you don't loose your settings if the power goes out.

These timers are horrible.. programmed and installed , hooked up my light and it wouldnt power on. had to flick the timer for it to send power out which to me seemed defective. Contacted vivosun and got the run around, finally recieved a replacement and does the same thing. Come in and lights are supposed to be on and arent , flick the timer and they come on..Just not the quality I'd expect and honestly probably a major fire Hazzard. I ended up switching to a manual timer ⏲️ felt the vivosun timers were absolute trash and that's where I put 3 of them. Honest Review

Works like a charm

These are simple timers that get the job done but I'm either extremely stupid or the instructions suck! If you look at my pics the 1800 setting is my 6pm setting and the 4 is my am. The instructions talk about the am pm setting for the clock but nothing about using military time for the timer settings. It would be so easy for them to just program an am pm setting for your on off times or the very least mention in the instructions how to program the timer using standard and military time. I like the timers but I've been so frustrated in trying to figure out what's what that I'm writing this review to hopefully save someone else from having to deal with what I did when it's just so easily fixed or at least explained!!!

These timers are great. Super-easy and versatile to program for pretty much any application. I use them for plant lights, turning electronic device battery chargers on and off overnight, Christmas lights and more.

One of the reason I choose that one over other timers was the "random" function. It is supposed to mimick the randomness of the light on/off when someone is actually in the house. Especially for the bathroom light since natural needs do not occur at fixed hours. Having fixed hours in a bathroom is a telltale sign you are away and put lights on timer. Home safety purpose. I can get it to randomly turn "on" for the first turning "on" but it won't turn off. It turns on and off properly in normal mode. But in random mode, once it turned "on", it stays indefinitly "on". I will have to go the long way and program as many schedule as allowed to vary time as much as possible :( I have programmed everything as supposed. As a test, I programmed one to turn "on" for 5 minutes every hours. I programmed the other one same thing but every two hours (to rule out problem arising from overlap in cycles since the "random" window can be as much as 42 minutes before or after programmed time). I am disappointed. If someone knows something I don't, I would like the person to tell me the secret. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Reliable and non-complicated automation. I love that there is no wifi or complex means to this timer. Many simple options, would highly recommend.

it works as it should! it’s got an internal battery, so in case u gotta unplug it or a power outage happens u don’t gotta reset the times you had on there afterwards
