Best gloves I've ever owned!
I originally bought these to work on my car in the winter, but then I took them on a winter rim-to-rim-to-rim hike in the Grand Canyon and really fell in love with them. I can confirm they are actually waterproof as well as windproof and oil resistant. They're fleece lined (or something similar) so they're very warm; they have a slightly abrasive surface so they're grippy even when wet, and they're quite thin and form fitting so you can easily manipulate screws and bolts as well as tools like a ratchet or your pocket knife without taking your gloves off. They also allowed me to refill my water bottles in the creeks without hesitation or fear of getting wet or cold. Highly, highly recommended for winter camping. I recommend buying them on the small side-- they will stretch a little bit and will conform to your hands.

Multifunctional
I’ve bought at least 6 pairs of these. They are my winter biking gloves, my crab-pot pulling gloves, gutter cleaning gloves, and winter yard work gloves. They are the best, and cheap enough that you can throw them away when they get too dirty or worn

These are the most useful gloves I've ever owned
These are the most useful gloves I've ever owned. I've only had them for a week, but so far: 1. They have kept my hands totally warm, without a trace of chilliness, for periods up to 45 minutes in 20 degree (F) weather, and for 10-15 minutes in 8-10 degrees (haven't tried them for longer). 2. I've worn them using a shovel, hammer, maul, auto ice scraper, hand truck, pulling a sled, carrying buckets, loading and unloading the car, using a cordless drill and putting in screws... no problems. They have a secure grip, and have more dexterity and finger functionality than any ski glove or insulated leather work glove. 3. In 18 degree weather I used them to pull large chunks of ice out of a horse water trough, after breaking up a 3-4" ice layer on top with a maul. I didn't even feel the coldness of the ice or frigid water. 4. They don't get damp inside from perspiration, although I haven't worn them in temperatures above 40 degrees. My hands usually get cold fairly easily, so these gloves have been a pleasure to use. I have other cold weather gloves but I find myself just reaching for these anytime I go out. It's amazing how warm they are, considering that they they are actually quite thin and flexible. I was surprised by this, as the product picture makes them look thick and inflexible. In tailored gloves like leather driving gloves I wear a medium, but in generic work gloves a large usually fits me. The large size in this glove fit just fine. None of the fingers were too short or too long. They go on and come off quite easily. The long cuffs cover the ends of the sleeves of various jackets without bunching up, or being too tight or too loose. I haven't tried other nitrile or rubber insulated gloves so I have nothing to compare them to. But after wearing these, I don't see why I would try any other glove. The only thing I don't like about them is the strange rubbery grip and texture. It's not as pleasant as wearing leather gloves. But then, they are waterproof rubber gloves. It's a small thing I can gladly ignore since they are so warm and perfect in all other ways. So far my gloves have not torn or been punctured, but I haven't used them for anything really rough. I imagine that if you were moving rocks or concrete pavers with them, they might get torn. I would wear other gloves for that. I also don't think they would hold up well to scooping up nails or screws. But picking up one screw at a time and using it has been fine. I ordered 2 pairs for friends, and just ordered a 2nd pair for myself, to keep in the car for emergencies. I think these are great gloves for emergency kits or bug out bags.

Great gloves but didn’t last long, still one of the best water resistant gloves out there
I work as a yacht detailer and I will say the warmth on these gloves is phenomenal and so is the water resistance. I’ve had them for a little less than two months now and they blue speckles on the outside of the glove is already falling apart and leaving a mess everywhere. I will say I use them about 30-35 hours a week so the couple small holes and other wear and tear could be the tough use I’ve put into them but nonetheless wish they lasted longer. Even though I’m putting 4 stars, still going to get another pair.

Best cold weather glove I have found
they do run small. A large glove usually fits fine and I needed an XL. A little expensive, but best at keeping hands warm in cold weather that I have found

wonderful
ice climbed up to grade 4+. super warm, super grippy and very comfortable. no ice up when very wet conditions. very waterproof and breathable (how da do dat?). mild wear spots due to friction when rappelling ... maybe best to change to a leather unit for rappelling?... i placed a spot of shoe goo on these sites between climbs. these spots never wore through full thickness and repairs did not influence grippiness and other features. Definitely need a gauntlet to be sewed on when in snow. I use older Patagonia boxer shorts, using the waist band as the "upper" elastic cuff. 1 pair of boxers per pair of glove. best bargain in climbing gloves ever. why aren't the big players making gloves from this fabric is anyone's guess.

Perfect
I bought these just to fill up equipment in and keep diesel off my leather gloves, and they've turned out to be amazing work gloves generally. They're way more durable then you'd expect. The XL's are fine for basic use on my size hands but the L's actually allow me to tie knots and work with hand tools without removing my gloves. They're totally impervious to water and oil, have a grippy and flexible coating, and some insulation. They are not warm gloves, but they also somehow breathe. I wear the gauntlets under the cuffs of a waterproof coat when making snow and they still breathe. I'll take breezy hands over sweaty ones any day. I've snagged them on enough metal edges that they are starting to deteriorate but willl buy many more, they are a great value.

Not the best value in the Showa product line
A good glove but overpriced IMO. The Showa 406 is insulated and more durable in my experience and therefore a much better value.

Firstly, these gloves perform beautifully but the sizing is off. I ordered large because my hands are a little smaller than large but too big for medium. What I discovered is that these gloves are a little too snug for me and I would rather have a little more room inside. If you normally wear large then buy the extra large. The performance is wonderful though. The soft inner lining is so nice on the hands and totally protects you from hot or cold. I can wash dishes with 212F boiling water and it just feels warm to the hand. I can use them to clear my ice fishing holes and pull fish out and submersion in ice water does not even register cold. They are super durable as well, neither work in the shop nor in the bush has caused a tear or leak in the outer shell. My wife has been using them for dishes at the cottage and I think I will need to buy another pair for myself now.

I spent a lot of money trying out so called water proof gloves, some were £70 a pair. I boiled it down after about three years to these. Waterproof, warm and hard waring. 10/10. Last forever aswell.

Good for a kubi dry gloves but a bit different technique must be used how to mount. They are good and warm. No leak if you mount them properly. Done only 5 dives since
