Bosch CS10 7-1/4 In. Circular Saw

This a great saw. Really powerful and made like a tank as you expect with Bosch. The rafter hook is a nice feature but I suspect it adds a bit of weight to an already heavy saw. There are two issues with the saw: one minor and one that made me return the saw. The minor issue is that there is no 'onboard' storage of the wrench, despite the description stating that there is. The major issue has to with use of 'detent springs' for the bevel and depth of cut adjustments. These allow the user to 'click' the saw to stops at 22.5 and 45 degrees on the bevel and different thicknesses on the depth of cut. These pre-formed pieces of spring steel do not provide accurate settings (you get 50 degrees instead of 45) and when you are trying to 'manually' adjust your bevel or depth of cut, the spring guide wants to 'pull' the saw to one of the predetermined depths. This gets frustrating if you are trying to set a bevel/depth that is not one of the detents. I talked to Bosch and they sent me a new spring for the bevel adjustment but it was not accurate either. I could not get it to detent accurately at 45 degrees. So I reluctantly returned the saw.

Just got it today, delivered on time. I’m a DIY’er and had a couple of PT 2x10s I needed to rip, and it cut them like a hot knife through butter. I burned up my old Skil 5250 trying to do the same job. Granted it was 30 years old, so I can’t complain. But WOW! what difference, even with the stock blade. I am impressed, and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.

El envío tardo un poco en salir, pero una vez en camino llego rápido, incluso antes de la fecha estimada. La caja venía muy bien empaquetada y sin detalles de manejo. La sierra se ve excelente con materiales aparentemente fuertes y duraderos. buena longitud de cable y acabados de muy buena calidad. Incluye disco de corte y llave de ajuste de disco, no incluye guía de corte. Se siente robusta, con buenos ajustes en los seguros de ángulos y profundidad. La bolsa de transporte es de tela semi-gruesa con estructura de metal y cierre grueso, brida protección, pero no creo que sea muy durable para uso rudo. Los manuales y garantías vienen en varios idiomas lo cual hace fácil su instalación e instrucciones de correcto uso. En verdad la recomiendo y considero que es lo mejor que podría conseguir por el precio que pagué.

Excelente herramienta, sólida, precisa, fuerza (corta el triplay 3/4 como mantequilla), rendimiento, lo único que le falta es una guía laser (sale sobrando si utilizas un perfil como guía de corte), y sobre algunos comentarios negativos de otros usuarios es el peso, puedo mencionar que es una herramienta para hombres, su peso da solides, seguridad y se siente una herramienta de verdad (no de juguete). Comparando previamente había comprado una black& Decker con guía laser, una total porquería!!!, imprecisa, base de deformaba( cortes chuecos), motor sin fuerza, no pude completar el proyecto (la mesa foto), se quemó y la devolví (aquí en Amazon) y compré está (vale 3 veces mas pero lo vale, puedo decir que si la ocupas ocasional, es para toda la vida.), súper recomendada, vale cada peso.
