Better Sounds for my Fox Body Mustang

Cleaning
It does the job. It ends quite in short time. My car cassette player still shows “Cleaning required” message but still plays the song as long as it’s on. Quality of sound was a lot improved as well.

Ruined My Car Stereo
I’ve used my car’s cassette player for years, no cleaning, nor any issues. I figured since it’s never been cleaned before, I should use a dedicated system that would clean and demagnetize the heads. So, I purchased a cheap product from Amazon, and tried it out deducing the overwhelmingly positive reviews were real. Needless to say, it turned my cassettes dark brown, and the sound quality is terrible. Subtle warble and loss of high frequency response is all I get now. Clearly, this cheap product fulfilled its purpose of being cheap garbage. Thereafter, I cleaned the head with a Q-tip and alcohol; the same issue was present. I cannot stress enough to do your own research and actually purchase something that A. Is valuable, and B. Lives up to that value. I’m not sure how this product got good reviews being that it completely destroyed my cassette player, but I guess anything is possible. Thank you so much for a cheap, destructive product that destroyed a perfectly functioning $300+ car stereo cassette player. I bet that won’t be accommodated for by this terrible company that makes cheap products that destroy quality systems as it only highlights their dedication to fooling the general public.

Not for me
Cleaning cassettes should definitely be done a different way. My player ripped out the filling and got a little damaged. Would not use again.

A product worth it's age.
I spilled coffee on my car radio and the tape deck became muffled. I cleaned it up with alcohol. The head was still muffled until I used this product, it made an old car radio sound good.
