Just as advetised
This Rubicon electric wheelchair is exactly as represented. It arrives assembled but requires charging of the batteries. One reason I chose this model is that it uses 500 watt motors. I live in a area that is rolling hills, but I can take my dog for a walk at a pace that let's him jog, and the batteries seem to last a long time. I have used the chair for part of each day for the last 2 months and the battery meter indicates that it is still about 1/4 charged. Power of chair, ease to collapse and expand, ease of controls, and storage area under the seat make this a good buy.

Fixed improperly mounted battery, works fine now.
Battery was improperly mounted inches from floor. Had to modify mounting flange, took about an hour and it is now properly mounted below the seat. Chair is highly maneuverable, used it to travel by bus and light rail into city and back. Also powered a couple of miles over steep and sometimes rugged terrain. It is well built and rugged w excellent suspension. Excellent for transit and neighborhood runs.

Weight with batteries is 68#
With leg and breathing difficulties, I can't walk very far. I found the Rubicon power chair very fitting to get around the big box stores, actually kind of fun! I have had it out in my yard, though a bit rough riding, back and forth to my mail box on a packed sand driveway to a maintained gravel road. The joystick control is very intuitive and proportional, moving from barely a crawl to the maximum speed set with the 5 step speed control which can be adjusted on the fly. There is a comfortable soft start and comes to a soft stop. Steering is very responsive and will turn in its own length. I drive a Jeep that is equipped with a 150w AC inverter which easily powers the battery charger The only con I have is that it sets a bit low for my licking but was easily rectified with a stadium or bleacher seat.

NOT FAA COMPLIANT!
I purchased this in August of 2021. At the time the Amazon page sold it as suitable for airline travel, which seemed to indicate that I'd have no problem flying with it. At the very last hours before my flight, I learned from American Airlines that the FAA did not approve this wheelchair as sold. The problem is the battery, which is not FAA compliant (Exceeds 300 watt hours). The battery that comes with this wheelchair is rated 24V20Ah. Translated, that means 24 volts at 20 amp/hours, (with "amp/hours" referring to the number of hours the battery can last). And that translates into watt hours as 24 x 20 = 480 watt hours. For a 24 volt battery to qualify under FAA guidelines the rating can't exceed 24V12.5Ah. (24 x 12.5 = 300 watt hours). On such short notice, I ended up with no option but to cancel a trip I had planned for over a year. I like the wheelchair, but I think I deserve some compensation for the loss of my trip and hassles. There are FAA compliant lithium-ion batteries sold on Amazon that would provide adequate power yet are limited to 300WH. (E.g.: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B012HHV2J6/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=A2OTUJ24ZUUY7H&psc=1. There may be others but that was the first one I found.) I feel that at the very least as a showing of good will, the seller should pay for or provide one for me, and then I'll let the matter drop. Otherwise, I'll be consulting an attorney about seeking the entire damages for the loss of a trip and air fare that I had planned and paid for many months before.

Arrived in 4 days including a holiday!
My mother is immobile without a power wheelchair. After her current one (not this brand) broke, I ordered this on Sunday the day before Memorial Day and express shipping got it to her on Thursday!! It folds compactly and works well. By the way, her local Medicare wheelchair provider hasn't even returned my service call yet after almost a week. Also, their chair was double the price of this one.

Just got it so this will have to be an evolving review
I've had it for just about 2 days (THANK YOU for getting it to me days before the initial delivery date) I like everything about this chair so far, save for 2 items. The beeping every time you press a button. Honestly, it is obnoxious and I'm on the hunt to disable it. The turning radius is much larger than I am used to given I had an Invacare TDX SI, this is just an adjustment I have to make to the chair, so my mild frustration to it is on me. The chair is comfortable, it is quiet, and I like the little storage bag way more than I expected to (after years of just filling my lap). Getting it ready to use was very simple as well. 50lbs sounds lighter than it weighs. LOL. It'll be easier to go mobile than my old chair which was around 200lbs but it isn't as mobile as I thought it might be. We will see how it goes. Bottom line is I am happy with my purchase, had to come out of pocket for this because my old chair just decided nope not working anymore so I needed a replacement quickly.
