I feel this relieved my stress, and kept our small family together. My Roo loves his sisters, and life. I love him. This product helped me keep him, and still give him a suburban life with the family he grew up with. I’m not worrying if the person I gave my baby too is abusing or cooking him. I got him when he was a little chick. He was the first one I choose cause he was the prettiest and cutest. Thought he be a hen….😂. I was still in disbelief till I heard his first Cookle Doodle Doo. It was so bittersweet and he sang beautifully. I feel bad I’m muffling his beautiful voice, but he’s happy and I’d like to think my neighbors are too. With close monitoring, my baby Roo is doing wonderfully. He gets a break most nights, after sun down of course. This Works.

Aside from being easy to use, stealing it on. Cheap quality. Did not work. Just use Velcro. Not a fit for smaller breeds. Noise, yes! Kept the roo still crowing! Not worth the money.

I really wanted this to be the peaceful solution to our early morning cock-a-doodle-don’ts, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The collar didn’t quiet the crow—it just made my rooster uncomfortable and oddly more determined to prove a point. Instead of silencing the squawk, it kind of stressed him out, and I think he took it personally. If your rooster’s got an attitude, this might just fuel his fire. Cute idea, but not the fix I was hoping for.

I bought some chicks, and one of them became a rooster. Before giving him the old off with his head and into the grill, I decided I'd give him a chance. I bought this collar thinking I'd give him every opportunity. Very easy to put on and material was decent. Can't really complain about the product other than it DOES not stop the roo from crowing. I put it on a little bit tighter, different spots other neck but he continued to cock-a-doodle-do. I ended up trading him for 15lbs of avocados. So this product does not work. I would say every rooster collar does not work.

I live in a "No Rooster" part of town. I bought 11 female baby chicks and 2 weeks ago one started to crow. Evidently "sexing" is an art not a science. This collar got mixed reviews but I bought it anyway. First day we put it on tight enough to fit a pinky between the collar and his neck. His crow was a tad raspy but still loud. We tightened it just a little this morning and now he crows and it's like he's whispering. You can hear it from maybe 15 ft away but I doubt it will wake anyone up in the mornings. I will say it's cheap and the edge is a bit sharp. If it chafes him I will put some fleece on it. I'll update this if things change but for now it's kept our "Big Bird" out of the frying pan!!!!

These worked like a charm on our super loud hen. Didn't prevent her from breathing/eating/drinking, and she could even still cluck, just much more quietly. Had to slightly tighten it a couple of times in the first week or two as the hen adapted, but after that worked for most of a year until we took it off.
