I put this battery in my Blendtec to try to get a good amount of lithium to take because it’s not legal in my country, but it just caught fire. So I don’t even know what to do now, because now I’m out both of battery, and the lithium, and a blender! Totally unreasonable. Before I destroyed the battery by accident, I did happen to use it, and it was excellent. It had the amperage as advertised and was the correct size, and was really convenient to use.

This was super easy to install, but be aware that Raspberry Pi Zero models with pre-soldered headers might not make full contact with the pins. In my case, I had to add a bit of extra solder and slightly round the ends on the Zero board to ensure a good connection. Once adjusted, everything worked perfectly.

This product is disappointing in the extreme. I used it to power several Raspberry Pi 0 and 02W devices with varying degrees of computational demand, but the battery life is awful. Even for a headless Pi 0 running minimal services, a fully charged PiSugar2 provided less than 90 minutes of battery life. The form factor is also extremely frustrating. The battery is just a shade too large to allow for mounting anything underneath with standoffs/screws, and it will require a custom printed case to be both protected and usable.

The price-quality ratio was great.

Easy to use product with great documentation and software backing it. For what it is it seems like good value, despite being twice the price of a Pi Zero 2W in the first place. Small, easy to adapt existing enclosure to support this. The only pain point was the presoldered header not having enough solder to allow good contact. I swapped to a headerless board and it worked, so I did the recommendation of adding more solder to get back on board and that worked for me - both Pi Zero 2W units could use the Pisugar2. 3/26 Update: Died after 20 days. Interestingly enough it still reports RTC info over I2C but the actual battery backup functionality died. Battery good, charges, light goes green - but on 2 known good Pi Zero 2W boards does not power them over GPIO as it was before. Initiated a return, ordered a replacement. I will update this review in a similar timeframe depending on the longevity of the replacement.

cet accessoire est fait pour pouvoir utiliser un raspberry pi avec une batterie fournie et dans le but de pouvoir l'utiliser sans le raccorder à une prise électrique. Son installation est très simple, aucune soudures n'est nécéssaire. Il y a seulement 4 vis et la batterie tiens grace a un aimant à la carte électronique. Le temps de charge est correct et il permet une longue utilisation du raspberry pi sans devoir le raccorder au courant électrique. Le prix est correct par rapport à la qualité de fabrication de l'article

Funktioniert einwandfrei und die Installation ist wirklich unkompliziert. Man braucht keine großen Fachkenntnisse – einfach anschließen und fertig. Bin sehr zufrieden!

still using after 1 year, great price with the quality

Great item, works flawlessly and easy to apply to any project. Only downside I found was having to utilise a workaround to enable the RTC functionality but this was project dependent and not an issue with the hardware. Highly recommended.
