Punches well above it's price point, super high quality
Super easy to setup, I'm personally using the bluetooth so just connect the power cable to one speaker then link them with the included wire. Design complements any room theyre in, sound is bassy without being too much though admittedly I prefer a lot of bass, the adjustable dial on the speakers allows it to be turned down quite well though. More than worth the price, superb quality. Highly recommend.

Brilliant
Last year I treated myself to a Sony Bluetooth turntable. It was fine when it was in the same room as the TV because I could play it through the soundbar and get a decent, separated stereo sound, but since then I moved it to another room and found the sound was not as good through standalone Bluetooth speakers, end decided to go for something a bit more serious like these. I chose these speakers because of the options available. Bluetooth connection is still possible, but there are also two coaxial inputs and an optical input. The idea was for these to act as speakers for my spare desktop PC and also the turntable. Connection to the PC was easy because there was an adaptor supplied which converts the 3.5mm output from a PC into coaxial. I could have connected the turntable via Bluetooth, but opted to connect via the other pair of coaxial inputs because I am old-fashioned and prefer a wired connection and because the turntable is close enough to be able to do that, but it is good to have the option to change to Bluetooth if things change. The controls are easy to use, though in practice I only really use the on/off and volume on a daily basis. Obviously the most important thing is the sound and these speakers sound really good. The bass is punchy without sounding artificially boosted - which seems to be the fashion with headphones and some Bluetooth speakers - and there is plenty of detail in the trebles. As for volume, these are not going to fill a large hall, but in the house they go louder than I need, and there is no loss of range when played at a low volume late at night. So they work well, sound great but they also look good and have a reassuring weight to them. Now I can play all those old 70s and 80s LPs with the sound they deserve, and use the same speakers to play CDs and DVDs through the computer. Overall I could not be happier.

Good speakers, terrible remote
Overal I am really happy with the speakers. The sound is good and they're easy to connect to other devices, either with a cable or through Bluetooth. I prefer the look without the fabric covers. The only thing which is real pain is the remote. It doesn't work most of the times, it is cheap, small, flimsy thing. That's why I gave one star less. I really need it to work so I can switch between tv, bluetooth etc.

TLDR Just get it
I normally do not leave reviews, but I did for this one. Totally impressed. Clean sound, compact form. The sound has some good separation and the bass is more than enough for a flat without killing the neighbors. The only thing for people to consider is that the s version has an extra outlet for subwoofer, and it costs marginally more. If you plan to have a separate subwoofer in the future, that might be a consideration.

Good quality and excellent value for money
Connections are simple, bluetooth works well and reliably, repeatably auto connects to iPhone which is how I mostly use these. Good phono connections which I use with a turntable but does need a pre-amp as I knew when purchased (recommend Behringer PP400). These speakers may not be up to full hifi specs but they are very good for their size and price
