Works well
I was a little concerned that this PVA type foam may not absorb water as well as the older type polyurethane foam, and only push the water, but it does do well in both moving water off, and also absorbing the remaining water. It can be squeezed out with downward pressure. It is well made and has held up well so far (less than a month?). I hang it on our screened porch when done to dry, and it does take at least several days to dry out, which is not really a problem. 10/2013 update: when the roller dries out, it does not work very well the next time used. Takes a long time to absorb enough water to soften properly, and does not work well until about a half hour after first wetting, then it is good. I usually try to wet it now before I leave for the courts, which is a pain. The old type foam may be better in this regard.

Value for the money
This was an ok roller but not the best. Had to do a lot more work than with some of the others.

Works like it should
This must be thoroughly wet to work properly. It disperses puddles and spreads them out into a thin, quick-drying layer. Once this is done, if it's a warm sunny day, you'll be playing on a dry court in about fifteen minutes. I experimented on two of six courts at a local school after an August rain and the two courts I squeegied were ready long before the other unsqueegied courts were. You just have to keep in mind that the idea is apparently to spread the water into a thin layer and plan on letting things dry for about fifteen minutes after you're done.

Great for the money
These work well for the money. Usually upscale tennis courts have better versions of these rollers. I wouldn't purchase these for everyday use as the sponges would wear out quickly. I ordered two of these and one was drilled incorrectly thus causing the handle to bend out to the left. The are effective and move the water off the courts. I would recommend these if you need a cheap roller. These are definitely not for commercial use.

Good purchase!
I am very pleased with the roller. It does everything as advertised. I rinse it thoroughly after each use and allow it to dry too. I hope it lasts several years.

not so good
sponge is always large in one spot and small in another, does a poor job

Works poorly!
The only good thing about this roller is the little hook on the handle, so you can hang it on a fence. I can't believe anybody thinks this roller works well to remove water from a pickle ball court; it does NOT! Perhaps somewhere there is a court that is perfectly flat, but most concrete, including my new court, is not; there are always low spots (maybe 1/8-1/4" lower). This is where puddles collect, and this roller just skips right over the top of them, refusing to move water. Even if I press down on it (considerable extra effort), it stills trails of water behind. Plus, when it's soaking wet, which it needs to be as the instructions state, it's HEAVY, making it hard to lift, change directions, and maneuver. A plain-jane, soft-bristled 36" push broom (see mine in the picture) works much better, weighs 1/3 as much, and costs 1/5 as much! Oh also, the box the roller came in is cheap and thin, and was badly damaged in transit by the corners of the roller and its otherwise cool little hook. I'll be returning this thing!

Durable!
This is much needed if you have any tennis court. These roldris are perfect to push any water off the service! They are very durable and last awhile.
