Fantastic tool for the typical home handyman. I'm not a construction professional, but I like to tinker around the house a lot. If you aren't familiar with speed squares, I suggest you watch the video at the bottom of this review. Even if you aren't building rafters, as I suspect most are not, this is a handy tool to have in your tool belt. It is sturdy and the markings are clear and easy to read, and is notched at the right increments for scribing lines. I've used it to mark angles, scribe lines, and to guide my circular saw - it saves me time and makes for straight cuts every time. It is lightweight and not too bulky, and the lip holds it tight to the wood. No complaints! [...]

Good square for Carpenters easy to use..good material durable..

Dewalt is always a good and reliable brand worth paying a tiny bit extra for as applicable. This is a reliable square, useful for the part time wood worker. The edges are straight and the numbers are clearly marked with max contrast. I would probably stock a much larger one if this was my living, but for small DIY projects and regular home modifications, etc, this is a good size that fits well in any toolbox.

This is a high-quality, well made, functional tool. A bit more expensive relative to comparable rafter squares.

Perfectly Square. My new go-to square, it’s very easy to find because it’s black, my last one was silver. Markings are super clear and it feels very sturdy.

Natürlich ist es nicht wenig Geld was man in die Hand nimmt, aber es gibt deutlich teurere Messwerkzeuge die weniger multifunktional sind. Die Ablesbarkeit auf der schwarzen Oberfläsche ist überhaupt kein Problem, selbst wenn einem die Sonne im Gesicht steht. Daher von meiner Seite eine klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden der sich an schönem Werkzeug erfreuen kann.
