Not sure why there are several one star reviews criticizing a tight fit but to each their own. In my case, I had a Pro Case for my Galaxy Tab S3 from a little over 2 years ago which served me very well and protected it from numerous accidental drops. That case, too, fit like a glove and when I removed from it from its case to trade it in for a discount to buy the Tab S7 Plus, the tablet looked brand new so I decided to go with another Pro Case for the S7 Plus as my S3 case worked wonderfully. I am more impressed with the S7 Plus case than the one for the Tab S3 (and I was impressed with the Tab S3's case.) Look, there are tons of options out there for cases. I can't see spending $128 for the Samsung OEM case when this one cost around $20 to protect a nearly $1000 tablet. There were not many reviews when I bought the case as the tablet itself was shipped out very recently (Sept. 18, 2020) which is a result of new product release meaning new product accessories meaning not many reviews. The case is more than sturdy with two angles to view from in landscape mode. The case also provides for two ways to store the S pen. The outside S pen storage location is magnetic and charges the pen while the inside S pen holder holds the pen but does not charge it. I use the magnet on the back to store it when I am at home and it falling out is not a big deal. If I leave the house, I definitely would use the inside pen holder as it's nearly impossible to fall out, though it doesn't charge the pen in this location. Having said that, the pen takes less than a minute or two to charge so the inside pen storage is not a big deal. Again, I am very pleased with the build quality and the thought that went into constructing this tablet case and believe that you will be too.

This is my second purchase of this item. I had this case on my Tablet for 4-5 years. Used the Tablet daily. Heavy Use. For the price, it held up well. I wore it out. It looks good and I wanted another one just like it. Awesome product. Made very nice. Slim but sturdy. Feels nice in the hands. Easy to clean.

Love this cover. Best cover so far. Had a plastic protector with a screen protector at first. This cover is nicer. It closes completely and shuts the tablet when you close it. Has some built in slots to use it as a stand. Not slip soft material. The screen protector it comes with is hard plastic and doesn't trap bubbles as much as the flimsy plastic covers do. It has some weight to it, but not like it's made out of lead.

I love the teal color, it is darker than expected but is a nice rich color. The case is very sturdy & snuggly fits the Galaxy 7 Plus but it is easy to remove as well although I don't see a need to do that as all the buttons are accessible while it's in the case. It has a secure section on the inside to store the s pen but it also has an opening in the back of the casetollow you to attach the pen for charging. I the cover has 2 built in grooves to prevent the tablet from slipping when you set it up in a horizontal angled position. Unfortunately it doesn't have any way to hold the tablet in the portrait position which is how I generally use my tablet. Although the cover does have a magnetized closure which shuts down the tablet when closed & wakes it when opened, when the cover is folded back behind the tablet there is no magnet to hold it in place so it slips slightly. It is also a bit heavier than I expected which makes it more tiring to hold in the portrait position which I prefer. Overall I'm pleased with the cover, it is very well made & will be very comfortable to use in the landscape position.

Very sturdy and nice color.

I have an older Procase for my Samsung tab S3 that I like, so I thought I'd try one for the S7+. The way it's made works perfectly for setting the tablet in my lap while I'm in an easy chair. Because of the fully rectangular cover, which becomes the base, the whole works sits across both thighs in a very stable way. And of course it sits on a table or desk just fine. It has two grooves for preset viewing angles, but there is enough friction on the grippy surface of the inside of the cover to set the angle in between as desired. This is very helpful when using the tablet for Zoom meetings, so that you can set a more vertical angle to make the camera see you better. I use external MicroSD cards in the trays of my Samsung tablets and I was a little disappointed that this case does not have an access hole for the tray like the previous one for my tab S3. See the photo, I was able to cut my own. The plastic is brittle so you have to work slowly. I used a tiny hobby saw to make the short side cuts and then a utility knife to make score lines on both sides of the long portion in order to snap off the tab of plastic. As you can see from my photo, the snap wasn't perfect because my scores weren't deep enough, but after a little more work with a tiny file, I had a perfectly usable access notch for the SD card tray. I don't use it very often but since the tablet fits very tightly into the case, it is a bit of work to pop it out and back in should you ever need to access the SD card in the tray. I also very much appreciate the fact that they have designed a special pocket for the s pen in the bezel next to the screen of the tablet. This puts the pen on the inside when you fold the case up so you don't lose it. If you forget to stow the pen in the inside bezel pocket, you will lose it when you transport your tablet. It does not charge in this position but it is secure for transport. This case is not designed to hold the tablet in portrait mode in your lap by itself, but you can fold it up into 'book mode' and use a pillow behind it for very comfortable use in portrait mode with the S pen. It's possible to make it stand vertically on a table in portrait mode but it's not terribly useful that way because of the viewing angle. Fortunately, the multi-fold design allows the entire case to fold up flat on the back of the tablet making it like a book, what I call 'book mode'. You can then prop the back of it up on something to get the angle you like for playing games or apps that will not rotate to landscape mode. You can hold the whole works in your hands like a book or Kindle reader if you prefer that. It's a little too soon to judge the durability of this unit. The old Procase for my tab S3 had a thin black vinyl coating that started to peel around the outside edges and the hinge areas. This S7+ unit is made of a composite polymer that does not appear to have a peelable coating. The teal color is pleasing but the main hinge gets a lot of flexing and polymers that flex repeatedly over the years don't always hold up. Time will tell, but for now it's lightweight and quite functional.

it works very well. It does not cover the buttons, no stiffness happened on those fully coverd cases. it wakes up or sleeps the pad when you open or close the lid. very good product, highly recommended.

Very nice and study case. I bought a random one on ebay, the cutouts were slight off, the burrs were not shaved. This has none of those issues, while being more secure, sturdier and is still the same price
