Excellent quality/ resolution
Perfect fit for my Kenwood radio

Top quality KENWOOD camera.
Excellent HD back up camera. A little on the expensive side, but one of the better cameras I’ve used. Looks great at night, backing into blinding sun, whatever the situation, it doesn’t miss.

This camera should be sold with the disclaimer it needs to be modified to work. This camera is for the Japanese market and doesn’t work with USDM head units and Kenwood does not sell the necessary adapter. The fix is easy however. The connector has two wires and you can connect an RCA cable to them to make it work. I used removable connectors to test it and it worked perfectly before I soldered them in place.

Careful! Installing it in the Front? It's a Mirrored Image
I finally installed this in the front of the car and image quality is great paired with the compatible Kenwood Receivers. However, the image is mirrored. The left shows right and the right shows left! This is a BACKUP Camera so, careful. Now I wonder how to reverse the image...

Awesome back up camera
I have a large infotainment display and the resolution of the camera is amazing. I bought 2 for the front and rear. I have an 2004 ford excursion and parking makes it feel like a bus. Backing up and getting into tight spots is so much easier with these cameras. If you have a decent display then go for this camera.

CLARITY! Easy to backup and hookup trailers
I mounted this in my tailgate handle bezel, on my 2005 Duramax. I can see my hitch and everything behindme. The clarity is amazing. Took a little bit to set up the guidelines, but it wasn't hard. I would buy it again.

NOT RCA compatible. Wasted time.
This will not work on Dmx1057. 1057XR has RCA composite connection. This has a not compatible plug.

Only compatible with certain kenwood brands even thought the plug ins are the same. Didn't think I was buying a stupid apple product!
