Reminds me of the 'HAPPIER' DENTAL FLOSS. Does not break easily and removes plaque or dirt between teeth efficiently with perfect flossing technique.

I have used this for a couple of years and my gums hate it when I run out - this floss is far superior at removing caught up bits of food than the traditional plastic floss. It is less smooth so it catches more. It will sometimes break when flossing, being a natural material, but it's well worth it. My gums love it and even my dentist wanted to know what I am using to get such good results.

I decided to try eco floss to reduce my personal plastic 'footprint'. I've been using FLON for over a year now. It's good but just a little more breakable than standard (non-eco) floss and not as 'silky' as I would like. Having said that, there is always one area of my mouth where it breaks, due to a tight squeeze and a sharpish tooth, so that may not be an issue for others. I'd prefer a little more pepermint taste, there's very little, if any. For perfection, an indication of where to cut it for the ideal length would be useful. I often feel I've been excessive but it's quite difficult to judge, so I err on too much which is not ideal for my waste reduction aspirations! I've decided to have a whirl with the EcoYou Bamboo Charcoal Dental Floss. I don't really like the idea of black floss but if it's less breakable that would be preferable. So those are the pros and cons from my perspective. In spite of the quibbles, I would still recommend it. You really just need to try it for yourself...

Without doubt the best dental floss I’ve ever used I never thought about it previously when using plastic based floss - but such plastics are obviously bad for the body and the environment. Whereas this ahimsa silk allows the silk worms to flourish and live a happy life).

Truly the best floss I ever used.

I love the fact that this dental floss is ethically produced, biodegradable and made from natural materials. I also love that no plastic is used in the packaging or container. I find that is doesn't shred easily for a natural silk floss. Flon gets top marks on all of these counts. However, the very big drawback for me personally is that the floss is simply too thick, too uncomfortable and too damaging to my gums to make it fit for purpose. If you are someone who has very little space between your teeth, who has crowded teeth, or tighter teeth spacing then you may experience the same problems as I did. That is, when attempting to fit the floss between the teeth, I have to use such force to get it to pass between the teeth that it hits the gum line with hard pressure and impact, causing pain, discomfort and often feeling as though it is slicing into the gums. It is sad that I love all of the qualities of this floss on paper but that I dread using it so much and definitely would not purchase it again. If it were just a fraction thinner/finer then I am sure it would do the job perfectly but at the thickness it currently is, I would not advise it for anyone with little space between the teeth. Nice to get eco version that doesn't break too easily, have bought a few times.

Purchased 8 times and last 2 refills have been of poor quality. I’m now looking for an alternative.
