COMMUTER SERIES Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Retail Packaging - White/Gunmetal

Case is great, it's very good protection, comfortable in the hand, fits nicely in the pocket. The ridge around the edges really protect the glass. This case has a professional look and is not too loud for professional use. It arrived on time and the packaging was perfect. I originally purchased the defender for my phone which is a great case w/screen protector. The issues I had with it were bulk and because it is completely rubber on the back it was impossible to slip the phone into almost any kind of pocket. This commuter case solves these issues, it has a textured plastic back. It goes easily into any kind of pocket, it is less bulky and because there is no screen protector my phone is more responsive. I do also seem to get improved reception. Easier to access plugs. Like all OtterBox cases it's well made and fits the phone well. It is a 2 piece arrangement, very straight forward to assemble. I am very satisfied with this case, to the point that I no longer feel the need to keep searching for the ultimate case, for me this is it.

This case is great. It was just what I was looking for. It offers awesome protection, not too bulky, fits snug, and is fairly easy to slide into my pocket. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the high price and crappy screen protector. You would think that when charging what they do for this case that they include a decent screen protector. Not one that is grippy and leaves traces from the stylus. I highly recommend this case, but if you are planning to use a screen protector, I advice you to buy iSmooth.

Excellent case. Terrific drop protection!!! Exact fit to Note # cellphone!! Terrific price at $10. Only trade off is case added quite a bit of bulk and thickness to an already huge Note 3 (5.7" screen) which is getting close to tabloid size. I believe this "Commuter Series" attempts to address this concern by being not quite as bulky as standard OtterBox case (which is why I purchased this series). However, anything slimmer does not adequately protect the phone. Here, great corner and edge and screen rubber and plastic drop protection. I added extra GLASS screen protector (the plastic screen protector inncluded & provided by OtterBox is flimsy and catches dirt and bubbles when installed) for $1.99 (thank you Amazon!) and now my cellphone "package" looks and functions 100% perfect and professional. A+ highly recommend!!!!

First off, let me bash these dumb people for dumb reasons to rate this product 1 star. The case is not slippery. Dumb people are just clumsy and don't know how to hold a phone in their hand. Notice how I used the word "their" and not "there/they're". Are you going to trust a review based on the dimwitted person behind it that can't even use correct adjectives? Think about that first! Secondly, unless you have freaky tiny hands you might find this case bulky. I have man hands so I don't have a problem with the size of the case. Also it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put a rubber housing unto the phone followed by the hard shell case. If that was a horrible experience for you that you had to rate it 1 star and blab about it, then life must render you catatonic. I don't know how you make it through life. In case you didn't know, the case comes with a 1 year warranty. Use it or lose it. It's like me wishing you a happy 29th birthday on your 31st birthday. It happened already. Get over it. Now the nitty gritty. There is some merit to the sides of the rubber housing. After a while. Roughly a year or sooner depending on usage, the sides around the corners do get saggy or lose their stiffness. That's why I rated it 3 stars. It doesn't seem worthy of that price tag. However I have dropped this phone numerous times and it protected the phone. So pick your poison. I have moved on to Tech 21. Offers protection and the lip of the case doesn't lose its stiffness. Very rigid. Also, it is half the price of this case. Good luck.

This case is very protective and the lip around the case protects the screen so I rarely worry about it cracking, just don't drop it on rocks! I wish they made it for an extended battery like a 6400 mAh battery, but that's OK. (The rest of this will be about how Amazon is NOT using any solar or wind or any other green, low carbon technology to power it's data center, which powers a TON of the internet.) Amazons AWS service which is Amazon Web services powers a large portion of the Internet, including MAJOR things like Netflix, Reddit, Pintrest and most likely a lot more. This cause a lot of unnecessary pollution and now it's all I can think about when I use those and Amazon's website. It's 2014 and the price of solar is REALLY REALLY low. Also Amazon has a good chunk of change they could put into this, but as of right now, haven't done so. buy the one sold by booyahchicago,i expected a fake or a faulty piece but ended up getting a genuine one.This is a very good case for the phone but maybe a little less rugged as compared to the otterbox defender but its very good product and offers complete protection for your phone

luv this item except for the included screen cover. considering the price something better than a generic , cheap screen cover should be included. otherwise great item which looks as exactly as described. i've used otterbox in the past and i'm still impressed. would definitely recommend to family and friends!
