Caring for an elderly parent now doubly incontinent - fortunately not all the time but often enough to get caught out- challenging, to say the least. These bed pad protectors came highly recommended by other carers who took the trouble to answer my questions via the Amazon platform - and are a boon. They are reasonably priced and catch the worst of it so your bed and mattress doesn't have to. In fact one of them stood the test of (I apologise if I offend sensibilities) of a horrible bout of loose faecal incontinence, protecting the bedding beneath, the mattress, and the side of the bed because the 'tucks' also caught the worst of it. They are also washable but ... I couldn't face it. I have to admit I took one look, donned plastic apron, gloves , mask and just bagged the cover; reordered more, rather than soak and wash it for reuse. My mum's nightie went the same way. It was too much but if the cover hadn't been in place the mattress would have been utterly soiled and likely the divan bed frame too. Invest in some. And some more! My only reservation is they are not the most comfortable things to sleep on because they arrive folded and , even after ironing carefully, through an extra layer (a bath towel or such like to safeguard the protective properties) the 'fold lines' remain and tend to ridge in the same place. Get that sorted and you'll be better able to cope with those Princess and the 'Pee' or Poo moments. Joys of caring, eh?

Purchased these as family member had a big surgery for cancer and was going to be bedridden for some time after, which obviously meant accidents may happen. Found these to be both affordable, easy to fit, comfortable (don't notice them when fitted), catches any leaks, does not move or slip when fitted, excellent quality and easy to use.

These are the best bed protectors I have found. For an adult with overactive bladder issues at night they are perfect. Do not leak, are a fantastic size. The side 'wings' tuck under mattress and stops it moving in the night. They are comfortable and soft to sleep on and do not make you sweat. They have been washed over and over at 60° and steam wash and they are still as waterproof and as great as the day they were received. Would definitely recommend.

One of my children has recently been experiencing bed wetting due to anxiety and these have been such a help. It was awful having to change the sheets in the middle of the night - especially as on a mid sleeper but as these come in pairs, I can now whip the wet one off and then replace. They wash well and dry quickly too. I gave it a double spin after washing and then dried on a rack in the house and it didn't take too long to be ready, and it was a pretty miserable cold day! I think I will be buying more just due to ease of use and not needing to wash every day. Plus also have another child entering potty training and can see it being helpful there too!
