We all need to protect our immune systems, and I try to eat and drink natural nutrition to do that. That includes foods, vitamins and supplements. I had tried another brand's Quercetin before and found it helped me. So, when I saw Mt. Angel's Zinc Quercetin with Bromelain Supplement – Immune Support, I was happy to try it. Putting the Zinc with the Quercetin in a caplet was/is appealing to me. I make a smoothie once or twice a week and I break the caplets open to mix it in with my other ingredients (see photo). The benefits I've experienced: + I feel more energized + I’m staying well + It’s super easy to include in my routines + The quality is good PLUS: No soy, salt, yeast, gluten, milk, egg, sugar, starch or preservatives! Also it is especially friendly for women in their mid-life. ----- My smoothie recipe: 1 serving chocolate protein powder 1 scoop Spirulina powder Handful of blueberries 1-2 sprigs of homegrown celery 2-4 leaves of homegrown kale 1-2 fresh homegrown basil leaves 2 caplets of Turmeric with curcumin 2 caplets of Quercetin with zinc Almond milk - enough to be level with my ingredients Sometimes I add raspberries, bananas, wheatgrass or spinach — depends what is on hand and/or growing in my hydroponic garden.
