My wife recently took a class on orchid care and started restoring all the orchids we have at home. This moss has been perfect for that — it’s clean, soft, and holds moisture really well without getting soggy. It also looks fresh and natural in the pots. After buying junk from other vendors, I took my chances with this company. This might not be the best Sphagnum moss out there, but I liked it very much. I got also the best Orchid Bark from this company with a very good price.

So happy I switched! Didn't find as much debris as others have claimed. I use this for my nepenthes and it retains moisture really well. It's growing even more with this medium than the previous sphag I was using. This one is a lot larger and fluffier. It doesn't take as long to rehydrate. It stays roughly the same size as it is dry. I definitely recommend and would buy again!

This is nice, clean, long-fiber sphagnum moss that works well for lining baskets and propagating plants. My main issue with it is that it doesn't really expand or 'fluff up' when you soak it in water. What you see dry is pretty much what you get wet. Because it doesn't swell, the bag gets used up much faster than I expected. I just used it as a planting medium for six medium-sized cuttings and went through half the bag already. The quality is good, but I wish the volume went a bit further. Just be prepared to buy more than you might think you need for your project.

Holds water perfectly, a little goes a long way. Perfect consistency! And has no odor.

Bought this for propagation. I've heard stories about some brands of moss being mostly twigs but this is good quality. I've made two prop boxes with it and taped the rest up for now. It's a large bag with enough moss for probably 20 small propagation/seed trays.

Moss is good as expected & as desribed in details. But i am disappointed from the delivery, i have received my order very late, almost after a month.

The price is quite high for the quality you get. The water retention is not really good and dries out very fast so you need to keep watering the plants every 3/4 days max. It has a lot of twigs and dirt as well.

I only needed a tiny bit of this to re-pot a little orchid. So far so good, though.
