Perfect product
This strike plate fit perfectly and the color was a match for the other door hardware. Functions great and was a great buy for the price

Fit perfectly
I purchased a new exterior door that had a smaller dead bolt plate area than my Schlage deadbolt plate. This fit perfectly and I did not have to alter the door at all.

Inexpensive, easy to replace, makes everything look great on your door
easily replaced an old scratched strike plate with this new one. You don't realize how ugly they are until you actually have a reason to look at them.

Okay but…
I bought it to replace a brass plate on a new door install. The hole is off just a little so I had to file it down on one side to get smooth operation of the lock.

Dimensions of screw holes incorrect
The product is perfect, and fits exactly as needed. It replaces a standard deadbolt strike plate, but gives enough room for the bolt in case of door or door jamb expansion & contraction with the changing season. Beware, the illustration shows the dimension between the screw holes as 1 3/8", which is incorrect. The actual dimension (which is good because it matches the standard strike plate dimension) is 1 5/8" between the screw holes.

Worked well for my purposes
Had installed a new but poorly machined deadbolt and the matching strike plate was too tight (no wiggle room). Eventually I'll fix them both, but in the meantime this strike plate works well as a replacement. Easy to install - although the screws were smaller - and matched the color.

Nice looking strike plate
The Satin Brushed Nickel Deadbolt Strike Plate was a perfect match for my existing hardware and gave my door a clean, updated look. The brushed nickel finish looks sharp and resists fingerprints well. It feels durable, not thin or flimsy like some cheaper plates I’ve used before. Installation was quick and lined up perfectly with my deadbolt, which made the upgrade very easy. Great quality piece that adds both strength and style to my door.

worked perfectly just what I was looking for. Only I swapped out the short screws that came with it and used my longer screws. For safety reason.
