Malibu Classic Acoustic Electric Guitar, Aged Cognac Burst, Pau Ferro Fingerboard, with Gig Bag

I had a lot of people warn me not to get an acoustic from Fender, but I happened upon this one during a crazy good sale and decided to give it a try, figuring I could return it if I hated it. Well, I love it. It arrived ready to play, no work needed. It sounds lovely. Neck feels great. I really like the 24 inch scale length. I get why some people say it feels small, but for playing on the couch or when traveling, I think it’ll be perfect.

This is a good looking guitar strings are no good as always on new guitars. I have never seem a fender malibu guitar I have the newporter it is nice guitar like it but they say the malibu is a small body guitar well it is in fact because it is a 3/4 size guitar same size as my 3/4 size guitar I have now why don't the just say that it is a 3/4 size guitar and not a smaller body guitar that is misleading. Any how it is a good 3/4 size guitar looks plays fine I changed strings in the 3/4 size good travel campfire etc. guitar or a child or person who is smaller in size and needs 3/4 size guitar. Fun to play So if that is what you need buy this guitar it is just fine no troubles well built. hope this helps update been playing this guitar for a while I put better strings on really helped sounds even better now great guitar I changed out the bridge to real bone with little bit higher side on the low E string and now it tunes right in at 12th fret so over all love this guitar always go name brand no names no good this has a fenders come with truss rods in it them (no names brands don't) so you can adjust as needed and if you go lighter or heavy strings you always have to adjust never more the a half turn tighter or looser depends on your strings your putting on as always. but hay I would buy this guitar again

Great small guitar for traveling

If you're looking for a pretty guitar with a clear, bright sound then look no further. The only Con is that it makes my Alverez dreadnought feel like I'm holding a baseball bat by the wrong end when I play now

I was a little worried.I read a review that said it doesn’t sound good.It’s not real loud,but it’s not a dread so this is what I am looking for.Sounds fine,plays fine.Sounds great plugged in.

I absolutely love the guitars looks, but with this your choosing looks over quality (for the price). The low e-string twangs with heavy strums, so your range of sound is restricted. Additionally, the built in tuner is low quality. You can get a much nicer guitar from Costco for about 50 bucks less, but it's not nearly as aesthetically pleasing. Don't get me wrong, I like the guitar, but would go with Costco if I could go back in time.

MALIBU FENDER ELECTRIC ACOUSTIC AQUA Novice-first guitar I've owned and learning for the first time. I'm left-handed and the description said left but they sent me a right-handed. So I just forced myself to learn right because I didn't want to deal with the return. So please fix your description!! It's a pretty guitar. I don't have much to compare it to. It's probably not as full sounding as a regular acoustic guitar. However, I bought an amp and it definitely improved the overall sound. I also bought a cable to connect to the AMP and really like the angle type. The battery for the built-in tuner was low so I downloaded the Fender Tuner app and it sounds a lot better. I would say it's a great guitar for a beginner like myself. I'm really enjoying playing my new Fender Malibu and highly recommend it.

Yeah, Fender cut a few corners, but the electrics work, the body is solid, the neck is straight. Sounds good and the finish is complete and looks great
