This stuff works! I’ve had severe LPR for years which advanced to effect my swallowing. I tried the minty alginate but the mint burned and was irritating to my throat. I found this and decided to try it. I didn’t expect much, but from the first use the nightly throat burn reduced so I could sleep easier and mornings were normal again. It’s a decent size tube and well priced. I’d say the texture is like thick syrup. The taste is pleasant, easy to take, and does not burn. I use after most meals but definitely after dinner/before bed. It won’t cure anything of course but this is a product that can manage unpleasant symptoms. Because it works, the price is justifiable and a good value. I will always use it.

My ENT specialist recommended this particular product recently, the one in the tube, to take just before bed time for my occasional acid reflux. I wake with sore throat or one that doesn’t seem to go away, and I’ve learned is caused by acid reflux. This product, when taken after dinner basically told it forms a floating barrier that keeps acids from getting up to the esophagus and throat, and allows healing and maintenance from serious effects that otherwise occur over time. After using it a week I can already tell it’s working. The taste of the VanillaCaramel is good too, like dissolving a soft tasty caramel. Highly recommend this product.

Not all alginate products are created equal. This meets all the criteria. Do your research before you go to the cheaper brand. This has no artificial sweeteners and tastes great. You only need a teaspoon so it will last a long time. It gave me the best night sleep in days. My GERD was the worst it has ever been as a result of antibiotic I had to take. The constant cough stopped as well as the need to have the head of the bed 45 degrees.

It seems to work sometimes. However, sometimes it doesn’t seem to last very long. It’s incredibly expensive for what you get. It comes in a very large tube however, I’ve had the tube for a week and I don’t believe I have many days left on it. I’m taking it 3 to 4 teaspoons a day. I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again. The flavors OK but it’s like eating a spoonful of sugar, incredibly sweet.

Purchased this after hearing from a health professional that the 'globus' sensation I had been feeling in the back of my throat my be due to reflux. After trialing a PPI and this for 2 weeks - the sensation completely went away. I didn't realized that silent reflux was affecting me and my quality of sleep. Now I keep this in my arsenal (along with some TUMS) for those days I'm eating a heavy, greasy or late dinner. Works wonderfully! 10/10 recommend

Reflex gourmet is amazing! I have silent reflux and I’ve suffered for months and months and finally did enough research to know that I needed something that had alginate complex which works sort of like a raft at the top of your stomach to where nothing can really come back up and make you cough and cough and cough. It was so frustrating, but I am not coughing after I take this and also it tastes super good. The vanilla caramel tastes like delicious caramel. I would top it on my ice cream. It’s so yummy. And I’m a picky person that doesn’t normally leave reviews, but I had to leave one for this medication because oh my goodness it’s changed my life!!

I used this product from 11/24 through 1/26 multiple times everyday as it helped with my acid reflux. After 14 months of use I found out I needed dental work of 6 crowns (2 with root canals) and 8 fillings (most below the gums) which were most likely related to the sugar in this product. I did not stop to brush/clean my teeth every time after taking this product as I was often driving between business stops. Buyer beware that using this product daily is like consuming honey and graham crackers all day long. The end result from a dental perspective is not good and very expensive. So one needs to step up their brushing, flossing and cleaning of ones teeth every time after consuming this product. Do not get up in the middle of the night, consume this product and go back to bed without brushing your teeth. Do not put this product in your mouth and squish it around. I recommend it should go down the throat as a quickly as possible given my 14 month results
