Great product
I have 2000 BMW 528i Chassis E39. My old coolant temperature sensor had a broken clip and was leaking because the o-ring was bad. I bought this product and it sealed the leak and worked perfectly.

Works very well; easy install.
This fixed my slow leak and reports the temperature the same as before. It was very easy to install (even without draining the coolant first).

good replacement
So far so good, stopped a leak i had from the lower radiator hose sensor that was broken from one of the clips. 2002 530i

Fits and worked just as good as OEM
This was an exact fit at a fraction of the price from BMW.I didn't not have any modifications except to remove the clip unplug and plug in and worked like a oem.

Not OEM quality or BMW part. Bought from Mueller ...
Not OEM quality or BMW part. Bought from Mueller Motorsport and this doesn't match the OEM part quality. Plastic feels cheap and no markings to show it as OEM. Was in a pink ziploc with some made in germany stickers. I will give it a try but don't think you are getting a BMW part for 50% off.

Didnt' fit
I have a 2003 BMW 325i. Examining this new sensor next to the old sensor they appear identical. However, this sensor would not "snap" into place. I'm sure it was in the correct orientation and I applied generous pressure to ensure it was seated properly, however the clips seemed to be too narrow to catch. I gave it two stars because I was able to remove the o-ring and put it on the old sensor.
