Hair Loss
I'm not giving the two stars for Natures Plus Turmeric, Nature Plus is one of my favorite companies. I started using the Turmeric supplement after hearing about the potent anti-oxidant and Anti-cancer properties of curcumins, after using the supplement I noticed a healing effect on my stomach pain, which encouraged me to continue using it, I then noticed that my bleeding during my period was worsened by turmeric, and after research I learned that turmeric has a blood thinning effect, and since I have slightly thinner blood than average this makes me more prone to heavy bleedings, I decided to stop the turmeric during my periods. I have then noticed my increasing hair fall, and was worried that it might be linked to turmeric too, I went back to my research which revealed to me that Turmeric is actually used in India topically to stop the growth of body hair, and then I read about research done on animals that showed increased hair loss with Turmeric use, Although I don't have a solid proof linking my hair loss with Turmeric, but what I read made me stop using this supplement, it could be just me, I don't know for sure.
