Fits 2017 Chevy Traverse
My rear upper control arm needed to be replaced, as it was rattling over bumps. Watched a video. Take off the wheel, then two bolts hold it on. Take those out, put in the new piece, put the tire back on, and get an alignment. Easy, I thought. Not easy. Tire came off fine, first bolt came off fine, then I got to this bolt. The bolt designed by Satan's engineers. It would not budge. At all. It was like it was welded to the old control arm. Tried an air hammer. Tried an impact wrench. Tried whacking it with a hammer. Tried swearing at it. Like a teenager with a new video game in the summer, it was not moving. Tried cutting through the old bolt, but the angle was so weird that I couldn't really get to it. Finally cut off the bolts at either end (gonna need to buy replacements for those), then used new bolts and washers and slowly, very very slowly, backed it out by putting on washers, tightening the nut, loosening and removing the nut, adding more washers, tightening the nut, loosening and removing the nut, etc. It took forever, but eventually it came out. The old bolt was so rusted and beat up from me trying to get it out that I had to replace it. This bolt is not cheap, but the price here was still less than what the dealership wanted. Put some anti-seize on it, reinstalled the new control arm, and prayed to the heavens I will never have to remove this bolt again.

Most expensive bolt I've ever bought but I am glad Amazon sold it!
I paid $35 for ONE alignment bolt. GM must be profiting well when they sell parts for this much. The cheapest I've seen it is around $25. The beauty was that Amazon delivered it in one day and it was a SUNDAY and I had the car back together that day, so worth every penny! If you're doing rear control arms, get ready to pay almost as much for the bolts as the arms themselves! I had to cut three of the four bolts off because they were seized to the control arm bushings. I guess I should feel lucky one bolt came out on it's own. This is a 2008 GMC Acadia with 190,000 miles and I'm trying to nurse a few more years out of the beast.

Came as Described. OEM Packaging
Product was exactly as described. Was doing a job that required these and the dealer was Back-Ordered for a few months. This came in just a few days after ordering and got the customer back on the road.
