A really great value…please read on for helpful tips!!
This set is such an excellent value! I was about to purchase the nail plate book for $4, as I ran out of slots for each of my stamps in my current books, & I wanted to separate them out by theme anyhow. I felt $4 was already a decent value for the book (in the past I’ve paid either $5-6 per book), so I figured for just $6 more than the cost of the book, I’d just order this set instead, as the plates were different from the ones I already owned, & I can always use another stamper. The books easily fit 20 plates like these (& still close on the tighter snap), but may not fit as many if they have the plastic backing (like maniology). If you have the smaller, square stamps (mine are finger angel brand), you can fit two stamps in each pocket. For those complaining about the back of the plates being really sharp, I highly recommend using a small sanding block, piece of sand paper, buffing block (or even nail file in a pinch), & buffing off the sharp edges. I do this before removing the blue plastic film & I’ve never been cut by my plates ever. See last photo for a pic of my foam stamping block (purchased at Home Depot). Another thing many people complain about is that the stamper doesn’t pick up the designs well. I sort of accidentally primed my stamper by doing chrome stamping, & after removing the chrome my stamper was slightly foggy, but it picks up all kinds of polish now without issues. When it comes to plate care, I recommend using a lint roller to remove polish, & to NEVER use acetone, as it’ll destroy your stamper. When stamping, gently roll your stamper over the plate, using a super light touch (it takes a bit of finesse, but once you get it, it’s so fun…I promise!), & then you can roll, or push your stamper down on the nail (slow & steady wins the race!). If you don’t stamp the nail quickly after picking up the image, you’ll want to stamp it on the inhibition layer of gel polish, on a slightly under cured gel top coat (like if you were going to apply chrome), or on a special sticky coat polish for stamping if you’re not doing gel polish - if not, the design won’t stick to the nail. I was able to pick up designs with these stamps with regular polish (see pics of the polish), & also did some tests with a stamping polish…a heads up, some of the designs done with the turquoise stamping polish came from stamping plates of a different brand, but most were these plates. The set of nails I did used a different set of stamps, but gives you an idea of different things you can do when stamping…I think stamping looks really cool over cateye, personally! ✨ Hope this info helps anyone stamp better or avoid an injury from a sharp plate…if it was helpful to you, please hit that “helpful” button. Thanks! 😊 UPDATE: these stamps are just so good! One of my favorite plates (if not my absolute favorite plate) comes from this collection (see 2nd & 3rd to last pics plate & manicure created with it). The images on this plate are just so beautiful & can be used in so many ways! It’s easy to cover longer nails with it, as it’s basically a full plate design. I did the stamping on those nails with regular polish too, & it worked so beautifully! I’ve found that all the stamps I’ve used had well etched designs & I was able to get good pickup. If you know how to stamp (it took me a moment & a really well primed stamper to get into it), you’ll love these plates. 💯👍❤️

Does what it supposed to do.
It’s cute. There are what appear to be protective pages front and back of book that are loose/not attached. Without these pages the snap potentially could cause damage to plates ( hence why my plate is inserted backwards). Other than that issue - the book works as needed to hold nail stamping plates. I had a little trouble getting a plate out once I put all in the holder. Since I just received it I will have to see how it holds up. Side note- I could have gone to the store and purchased a small photo album for less to do the same job basically it just would not have been made specifically for the plates.

Would not purchase again
It's okay but not as sturdy as it should be

Great holder
It holds 20 stamping plates. Front and back. Each slot hold two stamping plates. I had no trouble snapping it shut. This holds Pueen, Maniology, wokoto, but it does not hold born pretty plates. I have this plate just sitting at the bag of the holder. So 21 stamping plates.

Not For the Inexperienced
The plates are super cute, I do rec that you invest in the plate gel unless you're very skilled to use gel alone.

Functional but used
I was excited to get this to finally organize all my nail stamping plates. The design looks perfect for what I need. Unfortunately, the one I received was obviously used. It had scuffs all over it and some kind of sticky residue on the front. I paid for a NEW item, not an open-box or a customer return. It's just gross and really disappointing to open a package and find something in that condition. I'm just going to disinfect it thoroughly and keep it because it's too much of a hassle to return, and the organizer itself will still function. But I'm not happy about having to deep clean something that should have been brand new.
