Very plyable...easy to work with...

Great flat yarn. I purchased it to make the hat you see here on Amazon. It feels soft but has some body to it. I was afraid it would not have enough body to maintain shape, but is does. It’s not stiff. I also bought the Marble color to make a crocheted clutch pattern that called for raffia. It works beautifully for this too. The marble color is beautiful. More muted than in this picture/description. It also has a tinge of green giving it a soft oceany color. It’s a blueish-green gray. Will post photo when I’m done. Will def purchase again for other projects.

This yarn was recommended for the free pattern from Hopeful Honey - Florence backpack. I couldn’t get the exact color used but I’m really happy with how it came out! The yarn is soft and I was worried it would be too weak for a backpack, but when it’s doubled up it’s incredibly strong. Extremely happy with how much it can hold and doesn’t dig into my shoulders. I ended up using 4 skeins (to double up when I crocheted) - and have a decent amount of yarn leftover. Definitely good value for money.

I crocheted a purse with this yarn. It's very unusual as it is a flat tape, but I didn't have trouble working with it. My 4 star review is only because the color is gray, not the blue-gray I saw in the photo. It has a matte finish, but is soft and thick. I originally ordered from the mfgr and needed one more skein, which was a better price and quicker delivery via Amazon, hence the reason I purchased here. Luckily, the color matched what I previously bought.

Love this yarn!!! It is so easy to work with and is super soft. I'm making the Kelan Carryall by Meghan Makes Do in the color Willow that she used. It looks gorgeous so far!!! I'm really happy with it and will definitely get more colors for more bags or even a basket, etc. Very pleased!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My new fave summer weight yarn!! Works up easy and fast. Perfect for bucket hats and light weight jackets. Folds and stays in place. I wanted to make a wide brim sun hat that had the look and feel of raffia (as much as possible) but was waterproof. This was perfect! I couldn't decide whether or not to add wire around the edge. I used it for a while without, but it was hanging in my face and required frequent adjusting. I could have gotten away without if I had made it slightly smaller. But for this size, I decided to add the wire (picture frame wire, since that's what I had on hand). See video for before and after comparison! This project took exactly two skeins. One skein brought me to about a 1-2 inch brim with a 6 mm hook.

Ordered two 3-packs. Noticed different color. Very good for my project.
