Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading GIGANT Vol. 2. Review: Great - If you liked Hiroya Okus other works, you will like where this is going Review: Still Ridiculous - The silliness continues in this volume. Does it show some shameless fan service? Yep. Do I hate that? Yep. Am I still recommending this one to anyone who likes sci fi/mysteries? Yep. This one goes pretty fast. Not a ton of dialogue but a lot of things going on. And of course a lot of...sexual pages. If you know the author at all, you know there's going to be a fair amount of that. But the mystery of whatever is going on keeps me going regardless. You see a lot more action in this one so it can be more exciting than the first volume for sure.

Sexy Kaiju battle
Unethical behavior, bringing horrendous results. The foreshadowing was there and the hooks were set.

Oku Kills It
Oku is a genius, both in terms of story and artwork. Yes, it's a sophomoric teenage fantasy love story. Yes, it's about a giant, naked pornstar encountering weird science fiction goings-on. And yet Oku us able to sprinkle in little morsels of insightful social commentary. Really amazing stuff. GANTZ fans will not be disappointed.

Worse than the Endless Eight.
So, I would have given this Volume a five star rating... But there are six pages towards the end of chapter two that were so cringe that I literally stopped reading the rest of the volume for a good week and a half due to not wanting to feel that much cringe again. If you purchase this Volume, once you get to chapter two and the high schooler mc starts to cry, count five or so pages, those are the pages to skip entirely. Other than that, it's a good story.

Huge fun
This series isn't exactly like you would expect, there is some real depth to the characters. I'm looking forward to seeing how the main characters react to one getting to fulfill a childhood wish.

It's for adults but it's not vulgar
Good manga. It is lazy. I can tell that the writer/artist is just putting his streaming thoughts on paper. Bobby manga I

More Oku greatness
Hiroya Oku’s stories are always interesting, filled with lots of human emotions. Glad to have more English volumes.

A história continua a ficar cada vez mais bizarra. Não vejo a hora de descobrir se Chiho e Rei terão um final feliz.
