It works well to hold up a heat lamp off the top of a cage. It’s super nice and sturdy too.

Found the stand to be very lightweight and as other reviewers noted it can be a bit wobbly….but for the price it does the job. Adding loctite to the base plate mounting screw helped hold everything in place really well. Also added a counterweight to the base plate to help stabilize it. Will see how it holds up overtime.

If you have a need for a light that doesn't lay directly on the roof of your terrarium, this is a great lamp stand that is adjustable and built to last. The all-metal construction makes it easy to adjust without worrying about it collapsing or failing. The height is adjustable for small and larger terrariums. Once adjusted, it stays in place. Overall, highly recommended for medium to larger terrariums where you need various lighting and heating sources for your pet.

These are perfect to hang my seedling grow lamp. I can hang the lamp across two of these and adjust how close I want the lamp to be to the planted seeds. I can even lower only one side to have one area closer to the light and one farther. I paired this setup with a heat mat and my cucumber and zucchini seedlings sprouted in a week and grew so quickly I’ve had to transplant them within 10 days from sowing them (they are under the cones now). The other seedlings are emerging beautifully. I have 15 different vegetables planted and will be adding 5 different flower seed plantings next. I don’t have enough space for a greenhouse outside so putting this up in the kitchen and then taking it down to pack away until next year is quick and easy. This setup is excellent for the northeast where the frost date is too late to sow seeds outside.

It holds my double light. It is light weight to move it around.

Very poor quality. Not strong enough to hold "Zoo Med Aquatic Turtle UVB & Heat Lighting Kit." Poor design overall. However, I did a little deeper looking and found the "Josmimic Reptile Heat Lamp Stand Adjustable 18"-32" and it is fantastic. Its much better designed, stronger mount at the base, and solid. Holds the Zoo Med lamp very well!

Nice material

I ordered this item twice 1 day apart. The first stand was amazing. Easy to set up came with everything. The second stand I bought did not come complete. All the bars were there but some of the knobs to tighten it were not there (only 2 came attached to the bars) missing 2 and the screw. The first box had all the parts in a vacuum sealed bag. The second box did not. Over all I love this stand but had to figure out my own way to keep it working as I needed it today for my beardie. If I had known all the parts wouldn’t have come with it, I would have bought it from a store on the way home from work.

Just what I needed. So much happier about giving my torts a happy basking spot.

I’m very happy with the quality and flexibility of this product. I purchased it for my new snake enclosure. It’s been easy to move around and adjust as I figure out the best layout for my animal. It’s also a great value compared to comparable reptile stands I have seen for sale.
