Xylitol has a 'cooling' taste and I actually prefer it to sugar. But the main reason I am using this product (its expensive) is for its health benefits and tooth protection. Avoiding sugar is essential especially as you get older and less active, so to avoid diabetes switch to something like Xylitol. The price is around 5 to 10 times that of regular sugar, so I don't totally avoid regular sugar when baking, but substitute 50% for Xylitol, which helps it go further. This particular brand is a good price and so I will keep buying it because regular sugar is not a healthy option and you will already intake enough of it through normal regular food, so anything you can do to reduce it is good. Never take anything in excess, so vary what you eat, don't avoid some things that might seem bad, because most things are just fine if you vary what you eat and don't eat too much of any one thing like cakes ... LOL

Using to replace sugar. This seems quite a bit sweeter so using less than sugar eg: usually take three tsp but using one and half. Can use in baking/cooking to replace sugar use No stomach upset or side effects. I liked and thus, will continue to buy in future.

Love this product, best value and best taste, the only reason it's not getting 5 stars is the packaging. It never reveals, I've been buying this for quite some time now and I've not ever had one packet that does, apart from that it's great.

This is surprisingly very good indeed.I did some digging into its provinance online,which produced the fact that this particular variant of sugar substitute is made from corn,rather than birch trees.It is also manufactured in China,under quite strict health and production criteria,before being shipped over to the UK for bulk distribution. It's every bit as good,if not better than the more expensive xylitol.The taste and texture is excellent and it also contains zero calories.All in all,a very happy discovery and i'm pleased that someone went to the trouble of investigating just how good the production values are from fields to end product.Easy 5 stars.

I use xylitol in my kitchen when I need to sweeten something. It does the same job but it's natural and healthier. Dentists also recommended it to bring good bacteria into your mouth which stops creating stone over teeth.

This is great sugar substitute that tastes and have texture of a real thing. The pack is perfect size to last me few months. And additional benefit of contributing to teeth health is amazing. I make mints out of it which taste amazing.

Good xylitol, but the bag split under the real as soon as I opened it, which was annoying.
