I bought this to make tamales it was delicious and of good quality.

Pretty straightforward. Just a basic quality product made from pigs. Good old lard

I make cookies using this lard. Excellent flavor

This is a great product I use it making pie crust, frying potatoes making gravy you name it and I probably used it for that also

You can use lard in baking, but personally I prefer to use it as a replacement for cooking sprays. I will often coat my pans with it then put it in the oven. Which is a more natural alternative to the sprays. It is a bit messy so you need parchment paper or wax paper to apply it. And it would be really nice if this particular lard bucket had a handle.

It's ok for frying. Was hoping that it would have brought the old home flavor back to us from the old days
