Milk Thistle for Dogs - Liver and Kidney Support - Hepatic Support with EPA & DHA - Detox - Liver Supplement with Choline and L-Arginine (Liquid for Dogs)

My dog seemed really lethargic and totally not himself. After the vet did some bloodwork, it showed that his liver levels were very high and they proposed several types of treatment. I did my own research and found that Milk Thistle is highly recommended for dogs. I started my dog on this product and took him back to the vet a few months later. He had seemed back to his normal self. The vet was absolutely floored that his liver levels were extremely healthy for a dog his age and couldn't believe that I had just given him Milk Thistle to combat the high liver levels. My dog loves the taste, doesn't gag like he did with other Milk Thistle brands and it has my 13 year old dog back to his happy, puppy like self.

I thought my cat was going to die. I took her to the vet with all the symptoms of liver failure. She was yellow, had lost a large amount of weight in a very short time, had brown urine, couldn't keep any food down, etc. The vet put her on a steroid and antibiotic. After a week of her not getting better, I added this to her daily regimen and she started looking better within a few days. She's gaining weight, eating, the yellow is fading significantly and her urine is a normal color again. I can't say this product did all this by itself since she's also on the meds, but I know it helped tremendously. I feel that this product helped save my cat's life. I would recommend it to anyone who has a pet suffering with liver problems.

It took the Cat a while to get used to the product. I bought one with a salmon flavor because he likes fish over poultry or meat. So I thought he would like it. Well at first he was not liking it and would not eat his food. I started mixing it throughly into his wet food and after about a week he got used to it and now he is eating normally again. It also cleared the problem that the vet recommended it for so success all around. He will continue to get it for the rest of his life.

Our dog has both Cushing's and diabetes and her liver enzymes were way too high. She's also taking lots of meds putting more strain on her liver. Getting her to take one more pill was difficult so i was pleased to find these milk thistle drops. Easy to give and while she doesn't seem to be crazy about the flavor she lets me squirt it in her mouth with no problem. She has been on Denamarin in the past per her vets orders but it has become difficult to find in stock. These milk thistle drops along with a separate samE supplement have kept her liver enzymes continuing to improve. Definitely recommend.

Okay, I can't verify the taste, really, but my dog seems to like it, so I'm guessing. At the last vet visit, his liver enzymes were off/elevated, so I looked into something over the counter rather than what the vet was offering. I found this product, and I'm about to purchase my 3rd bottle. I have my baby boy back! He's been acting more like himself; playing with his toys, etc. instead of just laying around sleeping. I thought maybe it was because of his age (he just turned 10) but maybe it's more than that. At any rate, I'm going to keep using this product! I want to keep my boy healthy as long as possible. If they made this stuff for people, I might take it myself!

My vet recommended this for my Cat. Her Liver Enzymes were very elevated. They wanted to do a fine needle aspiration on her to rule out Lymphoma. I did not want to do this. Sooo. I got this brand. It was shipped pretty quick. I put it in her food like the description and the comments said. My Cat hates it. I tried her wet food, her water, a little milk. NOPE! she won't touch it. I put in the fridge, still hates it! I have to now give her in a syringe, when I squirt in her mouth she spits and foams at the mouth. I hate doing it, but its really recommended for her. I think after this bottle, I will research odorless, tasteless versions. The Vet recommended another brand, which was more expensive. Maybe he knew they were more tolerable. Nothing against the product or the seller. Just not for my Annabelle.

I give this to my 15 year old dog who has liver cancer. Although I know it's not a cure, this, along with her other supplements, is giving her a good quality of life. I especially like how easy it is to dispense. For her weight it's recommended that she gets a full dropper, although her veterinarian told me to double her dosage. I buy other supplements through this company, also. They have great products.
