I bought these by mistake but they were nice size and cab turns like a real one. I sent them back but wished I would have kept them. I did buy the right logging machine

My son loves this, it's not super durable and the little pieces can break easy, but its very realistic and he likes that he can open doors and the movements are that of the real thing. Bruder makes quality toys

We are big fans of Bruder toys. We have a number of Bruder trucks and have been very pleased with the quality and durability of their products. My son loves this Forwarder and it is an impressive looking vehicle. However, it falls under Bruder's normal high manufacturing standards. Right out of the box we discovered a few issues others have complained about here. First, the tooling of the claw is clumsy. the grip works fine, but the attachment is weak and likely to fail eventually. For now, it seems ok. Second, the boom arm locking mechanism is finicky and difficult to lock in place. Often it slips and the arm falls down, doesn't stay up. Perhaps we got a weak one off the line, but, it does seem like it needs improvement. Third, the boom arm pivoting mechanism sticks and abrupt snaps as we try to rotate the boom arm and claw. It works ok, but, just not the smooth and sturdy movement we are use to from Bruder. Forth, at this price a few more logs would be welcome. Come on Bruder? Overall, this is a great truck. if Bruder corrects these minor issues it will be stellar. It's got a lot going for it. We're keeping ours. It's my son's favorite truck. He's obsessed with it. We're building an entire world around it. Loads of fun!

Replacement one broke on same spot as original.. Spent a ton of money expecting quality.. Just isn't there sadly

My son and I love Bruder trucks. We got this one today and the armrest broke right away. He just touched it to raise it and it broke off. I usually can fix small issues like this but there is no way to even tape it to still work. Hopefully a replacement will not brake as easily. As for people saying the claw falls off, it has to be clipped in properly and works just fine. The only thing I wish is that the seat swiveled instead of the armrest lifting so that it wouldn’t brake so easily. So for the brand and price, it’s disappointing that it broke right out of the box.

This was all my son asked for, for his 5th birthday. He was right about it! He has been playing with it ever since. It can grab logs and other things, smaller trucks go for a ride on it, etc. it came with a little black piece I didn’t know what to do with, and couldn’t find any info on the website, except how to order another one. So that was a mysterious element, but the truck is good without this part, anyway.

The quality of design and construction is excellent. We also purchased a Logger in the same 1-16 scale. Our 3-year old grandson very much enjoys this toy and moves the logs on and off the truck. We bought this toy because we had walked together in the town forest near his home and saw a logger loading freshly cut logs onto the truck bed.

I love Bruder toys, they are simply superb quality. I bought this for my three, almost four year old and he loves playing with it. The grapple works well, even with tiny fingers. The boom and stick will lock in position if desired. The cab swivels and ladder drops for the operator to climb on. The door opens and action figures can be placed in the operator's chair. The log bunk stakes are designed to pop off if accidents happen, so little peoples' grownups can easily reattach them, rather than having a broken toy. So far my little guy loves this, he has most Bruder construction toys and maybe it's the novelty of being new, but so far seems to love this toy most of all.

My sons loved this Christmas gift! It's quite large and it keeps them entertained loading and unloading the logs for hours on end. Very well made as well, not a lot of small parts that could get lost or broken.

Greifzange fällt ständig ab, für das Kind (unter 5 Jahren) unmöglich sie selber wieder dranzumachen. Jetzt haben wir sie mit Tesa festgeklebt. Greifzange etwas unhandlich für Kinderhände zu bedienen.
