Metrovac blowers are popular tools for drying off your car, and that is indeed a big reason I purchased this. The hot air output is wonderful. I also wanted something to blow the grass off my mower deck ... a small, quick task that does not warrant firing up the gas leaf blower. The little blower does admirably in both jobs, and has also found duties blowing off my workbench and occasionally even the shop floor around the bench.Since I'm using it to blow debris instead of to merely dry a car, it's important to pay attention to the filter on the bottom of the casing. It's quite powerful, and the filter will pick up whatever is blowing around in the air, since it moves so much air as it works.It's relatively quiet for what it does, and incredibly powerful for being a small, lightweight, handheld unit. I would not abuse it by using it to blow off my driveway, but in a pinch, it could do that job, too. It creates considerable thrust in your hand. If you don't attach the nozzle firmly, it can be blown clean across the room.If I had a criticism, it's that while the blower is excellent, solid, and well made, all the material *supporting* the blower itself is a bit second class. It comes, for example, with a shoulder strap, but there's no place to attach the strap to the blower. There was no documentation in the box. (A blower doesn't need a manual, but you'd expect to find a warranty card, and information about replacement filters.) Some of the decals applied to the blower were inartfully applied. These minor issues do not sully my overall excellent impression of the product.

It will dry a small or mid size car. It has tremendous power for its size. It does not blow extremely hot air but I would say it is warm. I detail cars for a living. This is great for drying your car. Or also before you vacuum or clean the seats, carpets, or floor mats use this sidekick for blowing dirt and debris or dust off the dashboard. It Will not dry a large truck or suv. Well it will but you will need the 4hp metrovvac blaster at least if you have a truck or suv. If you have a compact or midsize or even full size car this will do the job. Keep in mind using this metrov vac sidekick is a way better option than using a compressor because a compressor especially an old one gets filled with oil and water and spits out of the gun and its so microspocic you can see it. You do not want that getting on your cars carpet leather seats and especially paint after you have cleaned. So if your wondering to buy this and your thinking well I don't need it I have a compressor. This is a better and safe option for your car in the long run. This delivers warm filtered air.

I bought this with the hopes of being able to dry my entire car, it failed in that. However, it is good for drying small hard to reach spaces and it can blow all the dust out of your car's dash. I give it five stars because does exactly what it's designed to do and does it well.

I purchased this as a gift for my younger brother as he does detailing work and theproduct itself is excellent for drying off hard to reach spots and he loves it! Unfortunately I received the wrong one twice so i had to buy from somewhere else.Highly recommend the blower but just know that if you want the extra components you more than likely won't get them and instead just receive the blower itself.

Purchased this hoping I could dry my Bmw 435i coupe after a power wash... unfortunately the blower and heating element are not powerful enough to dry it in one pass. I spent more than 30 min and gave up because it was taking too long. The blower is very good at drying brakes and wheels though but not large surfaces. It'a also going to be expensive to run for longer applications since it draws a lot of power, likely also not going to last very long in that case. The unit is very well built and made in the US which is cool.

Excellent. I have a 2017 harley freewheeler with lots of shine and chrome, and this dryer is perfect. plenty of warm air and power. Gets all the chrome dry which in impossible with just a towel.... No water spots. ..... It's also makes it easy to spot places that I missed when cleaning my bike. Seems to be very well made, should last a very long time. Well worth the price.

Got this blaster for my hubby to get the water out of the nooks and crannys of his cars. The size is perfect!

Used for the 1st time today. I love it. Washed and towel dried my car. I used Blaster to blow and dry cracks, emblems, wheels and tires. Then it struck me to blow dry door jams and hard to reach areas and then I used it on the engine to blow away leaves, dirt and water. Finally I used it to blow away dust from interior of vehicle. Worked very well. End result EXCELLENT.
