EDIT: The seller reached out and will send me a replacement water bottle! I am very appreciative of their excellent customer service so I am changing my review back to 5 stars. I originally loved this water bottle and food holder but exactly one month after purchase it started LEAKING!! Three times now within the past few days I have found my hamster’s cage soaked with water and water bottle empty from every drop leaking out. Of course the return window just ended so I can’t return it. I would appreciate if the seller could please send me a replacement water bottle!

This product is advertised as sturdy, good quality material and most definitely is not. It’s cute, easy to put together, but it is not worth the $12 I spent on it. This is what the product looks like after -less than 24hrs- of use in my mouse’s enclosure. When purchasing things for your rodents, you want to ensure everything is a safe, nontoxic material in case they chew on it, but there is no point in purchasing a water bottle holder advertised as safe for mice, that is completely destroyed by a mouse & and barely functional in less than one day. Do not buy this, it’s low quality and will not last long. If you want an expensive chew that lasts a day or two, go for it, but if you want a quality water bottle holder for your pets? Look somewhere else, this ain’t it.

So far this product is exactly what I was hoping for. I have an older hamster and the cage I have, the food and water bottle are in a spot where if she gets sick with wettail she would have a hard time going to get a drink. This product lets me put her food and drink right outside her house. PERFECT! I have a standard size hamster so you can see her size versus the actual product. I have to say the water bottle is pretty small for a guinea pig. I've never had a guinea pig though so I can't necessarily speak for that. Those who complain this water bottle is too small for a hamster doesn't quite make sense to me. In reality you should be changing the water everyday, but if you don't this water won't run out within a day. The material is chewable, I would have thought it would be more plastic so it would be harder to chew. So far my hamster hasn't chewed it up, so I'm happy with the product. Make sure you're furry friend has enough toys, and your water bottle should be safe haha.

Worked really well and was a cute little way to feed my gerbils. Though it wasn’t as sturdy as I expected, so it was a little iffy staying together. I also saw one of my gerbils was starting to eat it away even though the food was in it. It’s been completely eaten apart now. So that’s something to think about when it comes to whatever animal you’re buying it for. They may try to eat the food holder.

It was beautiful for my hamsters but they chewed it up so now I realize if they like to chew on things get a harder wood one.

Item arrived and it was SUPER easy to assemble. I thought this was the perfect product for our new pet mouse. He liked hiding by his food in the lower chamber and climbing to the top. The water bottle worked perfect. After a night of being in the cage with the mouse, the wall of the holder was chewed through. Total waste of $10. At least he has a nice water bottle out of this.

Very easy to build. Holds the water dispenser very well. My hamster loves to sleep inside the food dispenser sometimes too. Great 2-in-1!

I received this today for my daughter and there were no instructions on how to assemble, added on to the fact that it's made from a very soft wood, which is NOT CHEW proof. The water bottle is a pain to put in and out of the hole. When I tried putting the screws in a couple of pieces of the wood broke off. It's just not worth the hassle. If I would've known that it was a wooden puzzle box I never would have bought it. I'd rather have a plastic water bottle holder. Don't waste your money on this. If your hamster gets bored they'll chew right threw the flimsy soft wood. it might as well be styrofoam. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Loved this! It was fun to put together with the tiny screws. At first, I was concerned about the screws causing trouble, but the gerbils seemed to ignore them. They did chew down the corners a bit, but not as quickly as I thought they would. And they never did destroy it. This definitely wouldn’t last for the full life span of a gerbil, but it’s so useful that it would be worth replacing every six to twelve months.

The bottle leaked so much that it emptied and the structure was completely chewed up within 2 days. I don't give feedback on things unless it's positive but this is worth complaining about. Very dissapointed but the idea of it is great. They need to change their recipe in materials.. not worth a dime.

I bought this quite a long time ago (1-2 years). At first, I would use the pouch area to store food as well. But the hamster has eaten away a lot of the material. Now, it only works as a water bottle. Overall good value, considering I have been using it for very long and they hasn't been a problem with it. Very good for a plastic cage with no metal bars to hang a water bottle, quite aesthetic as well!

Pros: *fast shipping *cute *east to build (even w no instructions) *2 in 1-water food solution *good for wood cages with no wire to attach reg bottles to. *Big food area Cons- *Cheaply made for cost *leaky bottle but I placed dish under it so not to concerned. *it's water bottle is Tiny! (maybe ok for a dwarf or mouse but not so great for my full size bear hamster) *easily chewed (although mine hasn't bothered as I check food and water daily)

Purchased this for my daughters aquarium hamster home. Thought it would be a good idea but the bottle leaks, i only fill it up 1/4 of the way now because it will empty half to 3/4 overnight. :(
