I had bought a Weber 6481 Small Stainless Steel Vegetable Basket and found it too small to really be able to move the veggies around without inadvertently knocking them out of it. When I saw this item pop up during Prime Day it was an easy purchase to justify. So far I've used it a few times and it works great! Seems to be very well made, the steel isn't as thick as on the aforementioned Weber item, but I don't think that'll be an issue. The tapered sides are great as well as it gives you some wiggle room when shuffling the contents around. Clean up went well, the steel on this seems to be more polished than the Weber one I bought which helped with the cleanup; after my first use of the Weber there was a significant amount of discoloration and 'gunk' burnt onto it that has been a chore to remove. Also for those of you who haven't tried a grilling mat, I highly recommend it. I was skeptical of them but picked some up ( LauKingdom Non-Stick BBQ Grill Mat - Set of 5 Mats ) on Prime Day as well to test out and they were awesome. Covered my whole grilling surface with two mats, had the basket on one side and chicken grilling on the other. Everything turned out great, zero cleanup to the grill itself and the mats just went into the sink to soak in soapy water while we ate dinner. After dinner a quick once-over with a scrubber and the mats were clean and ready to go again; very cool.

I used the grill pan about a week ago, and was very happy with the results. I used it to grill sliced smoked sausage. The slices grilled up very quickly and were lightly browned on both sides when I took them up (I served them on toothpicks with honey mustard for dipping). The sausage released a good bit of grease and caused some dark brown spotting on the pan, but after soaking in hot water for several minutes and using a steel wool pad, it returned to its "like new" condition. I'm sure it will perform equally well with vegetables.

The only bad thing about this is I wish there was more space on the bottom. If there was as much space as there is at top I would really be in love purchasing another. Does a good job must stir alot. I love grilling veggies might look for one with a bigger diameter. It is very well crafted and customer service reached out to make sure it arrived safely.

The real thing. 430 grade Stainless Steel. Many uses when you don't want your food to drop through the grids. A must have for BBQ. Don't waste your money on the cheap baskets. I like it to BBQ shrimp. Just peel soak them in water and a little vinegar drop them in and sprinkle a little Old Bay or your favorite Seafood Seasoning. I don't like telling anyone how long to cut seafood. I am not a chef. But I cook them until they are tender and pink. About 2 or 3 minutes then stir and 2 or 3 minutes more. The only real way is to do what I do. When it gets close to being done. Taste them. Best to do the testing when nobody is looking. Esp. the wife. If you don't want to hear "keep eating them and they won't be any left"

This basket is well made, sturdy, does what I want it to do; cook vegetables outdoors in ways that would set off smoke detectors in the kitchen. The easy to clean rating is low. This is no shortcoming of the basket itself. It doesn't matter. Olive oil at these temperatures sticks to everything and I use a lot. Crushed mini red potatoes w/rosemary & garlic to die for! Next it's blackened brussel sprouts. No non-stick surface to get messed up. I like it.

I finally got a chance to use this grill basket and was surprised that it had plenty of room for all my veggies. Mine came intact so no issues with broken tabs. My new grill is a "portable" table grill so I was worried the grill lid wouldn't close over the basket, but it just made it! The basket is good quality steel, and easy to clean. I was also worried about the reviews that said the corners were sharp, but found that you just have to know this and be careful when cleaning it. I am super happy with this purchase! Will be grilling a LOT more now.

The basket is sturdy, and works fine. I would recommend it for doing its job, grilling food well. However, my basket arrived with one corner with a rivet off. The metal is strong and stays rigid without the rivet, so it still works, but I'm a bit disappointed that it was not checked before sending, or it was handled roughly. It doesn't appear to be otherwise damaged, so I think it was on oversight on quality control? I still like and use the design.

I got this basket to grill vegetables in my Green Egg without the fuss of vegetables falling through the grill. It works well, but my advice is to spray some cooking oil on it first so the vegetables will not stick. It did clean up fairly easily and the basket was big enough to make a fairly large portion, just keep tossing the vegetables so they get cooked evenly. So far I am happy with the product.

It's a BBQ stainless steel basket, it doesn't need to be clean as new.
