Good quality dependable gfci. Wire connectors are clearly marked and hold wires tightly. LED status light provides clear indication of whether unit is receiving power, is tripped, or is functioning properly. It is easy to install provided you either understand electrics or you read the instructions carefully. You will need to understand the difference between LINE and LOAD side if you intend to use this with other outlets up or downstream. You can wire two GFCIs on the same circuit breaker but ONLY if you use pigtails AND wire both to the LINE side. If this does not make sense to you, best to use an electrician.

I’m not an electrician by any means — I’ve changed a few outlets and switches over the years, but I still triple-check everything so I don’t end up shocking myself or, you know, causing a fire.That said, I bought this Leviton GFCI switch/outlet combo to replace an old one in my bathroom. Instructions were clear enough, and after flipping the breaker about five times just to be sure, I got it installed and working! The LED light is a nice touch to let you know it’s functioning right, and the self-test feature gives a little extra peace of mind.The combo design is super convenient — saves space and looks clean. The tamper-resistant outlets are great too since I’ve got kids around.It’s been a few weeks now, and everything still works perfectly. No sparks, no blown circuits, no smoke. Just a solid little device doing its job.Highly recommend — especially if you’re a cautious DIYer like me!

Ever heard It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it?Bought a few, computers desk, cell phones/tablets chargers in bedrooms and kitchen, worked as expected when a open faucet flooded the living room and got to a power strip and power cords.Easy to install, easy to test, instructions are clear, quality product.

Leviton makes a great GFCI outlet that is built well, and looks great. I needed to replace a 20-year old outlet that failed over time, and this is the perfect upgrade! The green light is a little bright, but it is outside and doesn't bother me.

Works well, very easy to install. Can't comment on durability yet but I have never had problems with this brand.The nightlight has a purple hue (it looks more purple in real life than in the picture). I wish it were a warmer / yellowish light color.

Easy install and no more nightlight is needed. Have installed many of these over the last year in both bathrooms and kitchens. Make sure your replacement GFCI matches the circuit load, as in 15amps or 20amps. Great light output with GFCI safety. Easy to install with great Leviton engineering, durability and quality. Superior to other brands in my experience since the 1970s. Tip; GFCIs wear out so please test routinely and replace when they fail, Safety first folks!

Seems to be confusion in some reviews about the wiring diagrams and the way in which this combo GFCI/Outlet/Switch unit can be used. This is a highly flexible device. The switch part of the device, which has separate leads, can be used to control power into the unit or to control power out of the unit, either with or without GFCI protection. The outlet part of the device always has GFCI protection and has a green LED showing it is operating. There are numerous wiring diagrams available for using this type of device, including from the manufacturer. The main thing is to use in compliance with applicable electrical codes. If in doubt, consult with or hire a licensed electrician.In my particular application, which was inside a garage, I wired the unit with the GFCI on all of the time. I used the switch to control a remote outside outlet. I did not use the GFCI in this device to protect the remote outlet because the remote outlet already had its own GFCI protection in the outlet box.
