There is NO substitute for the Velcro brand. We purchased a cheaper brand it the adhesive was terrible and would not stick. We learned our lesson. This is working perfectly on the rockers on our chair as we don't want to scratch our hardwood floor. It is a great value for the money as it works! The old addage is true... you get what you pay for.

I bought this to gently secure a palm plant to a support rod so it could grow straighter without being tied too tightly or risking damage to the stem. I cut the tape into short strips and wrapped it loosely around the plant and the rod. I was relieved by how easy it was to adjust the tension so the plant felt supported but not constricted. Being able to open and re fasten it made repositioning simple as the plant shifted and grew, without needing to remove the adhesive each time. The adhesive backing held securely to the smooth rod and did not slip once placed. The tape cut cleanly with scissors and stayed neat without fraying. The white color blended in well and was not visually distracting among the leaves. This has been a practical way to guide plant growth while keeping the support flexible and gentle on the stem.

It is best to get name brand. I purchased some generic brand Velcro on Amazon and it was not very sticky and did not hold very well. I recommend this product because the name brand Velcro is much more sticky and reliable for holding something to a table or a wall (or wherever you want to put it). Also what I like about this product, is it gives you a roll of Velcro and you can just cut off the exact amount you need, and therefore it actually lasts a lot longer. Since you only cut the amount you need at a time.

80% of both parts of the Velcro roll works well and is sticky- 20% of the smooth part of the Velcro had no stick at all- unusable!. It was easy to separate the Velcro from the cellophane backing so that was a plus.

The VELCRO Brand 5 ft x 3/4 in strip worked perfectly for my needs. I used it to secure the back bottom flap of my lounger chair, and it holds firmly in place without slipping or coming loose. The adhesive is strong and reliable, even on the fabric and faux leather surface of the chair. It blends in well, does the job neatly, and was very easy to apply. This simple fix made a big difference and saved me from having to do a more complicated repair. Overall, this Velcro is durable, versatile, and dependable. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend it for quick household fixes like this.

I purchased this by mistake but decided to keep it " just in case". Have used it 3 times already. Very windy during a recent snow storm. Our gate was blowing back and forth and the lock was frozen in the open position. How was i going to keep it closed?? The velcro worked perfectly.

This Velcro product reformed exactly as described. It stays amazingly. Easy to apply. I particularly like the idea of cutting it to the length that I needed. it worked very well, and I’ve always been satisfied with the Velcro band.

The adhesive on the magnet works real well, but the magnet was not strong enough for what I wanted. I was going to use it to mount a thermopro tp50 humidity/temperature gauge. I wanted a strong magnet so the gauge would not easily be knocked off.

La verdad es que lo usé sólo por probar a ver si realmente funcionaba, y lo puse entre 2 piezas de madera, no pesadas. Era intentar con este producto, o poner de los velcros de "ruedita" que yo ya tenía. Pues me decidí comprarlo, me sorprendió gratamente que sí me funcionó muy bien, aguantó sin problema, y a la fecha no se han desprendido. Muy buen producto!

Holds almost anything. I would say it's a must buy for all homes
