My only complaint was that the bottle was leaking around the base of the cap and the velvet on the base was ruined and a 3rd of the spray was lost. HOWEVER it is ONE OF MY FAVORITE SCENTS NOW. Jean Paul Ultra Male, this specific scent has given me a new found love for scents. I never cared too much till I bought this scent, now all the sudden I've got 5 other high price scents in 2 months and now it apears I'm sort of starting a collection. This cent is pretty strong compared to what I'm used to but, honestly not as strong as I was expecting based on others postings on projection. Perhaps the first hour it's very CONSISTENT and nice on projection after 1 hour in, yes it is still nice and strong till about 2hours in... it is then that it apears more as if I sprayed a normal strength cologne on.. after 10mins. I find if spraying 7-10 times under a layer of clothes is a nice balance in scent lingering 3-4 hours of projection more than 5 feet after 5hours it's less than 2ft ish and 10 hours it's an up close scent and it is very very pleasant for close incounters for sure... Very very strong scents for sure I also think if your nkt headed out yet or an hour from leaving you could spray this 12 times or maybe more (under a layer of clothes) so that when you head out it has died down a little but your projection lasts far longer through the middle of the day and it is always tolerable, and never harsh on my sinuses. And it's really nice after 6 hours. The sweet vibes are loud and masculine enough to really pull compliments. This has got to be the best sweet sent you can buy. I've not smelled many but this has got to be the BEST blind buy ever. Pick you up a bottle you can't go wrong with this one. I don't want to say it will not give you a headache but for me. Other scents and given me an instant headache like Prada black carbon did initially but it was once and it has a hint of sweetness pepper and other characteristics that really make that the least offensive scent i own and is greatest scent for anything really. Just that instant headache made me hate it at first. , I fell In Love with jean paul ultra male on the first spray. Prada carbon black after one day. And now I spray it like 15times minimum to get I to last. The day and it is very pleasing. Under the shirt I spray that near shoulders 3 times chest 5 times hair 2 times neck once around the front once around the back uner my shirt on my back twice and I leave home after an hour with a shirt over my under shirt. I also got another scent: al haramain l' adventure. Which is a totally different type of scent to me that is the only scent that comes across as synthetic I don't know if the intense version smells better but it is a good masculine fresh peppery scent with a hint of pineapple(even though to me I had to test it and think on it a little to find the similarity. This cologne to me smeel really nice but it is like a scent that I would think is a big box store type of scent and totally different than I expected but I like it enough to wear it. It is pretty strong. I'm still looking for a warm sweet sent that has notes similar to ultra male but warmer and toned toward woody and smooth just. With a slight complexity to its depths on introduction.

I really like this one it’s sweet and bold with that juicy pear and warm vanilla vibe, and the spices give it a nice kick. It smells strong and confident, perfect for nights out or cooler weather i mean I watch a lot reviews on every social media plate form that it’s better than jpg le male but I don’t think so it’s not bad but it just okay so 8/10

If you know anything about jean-paul gaultier cologne for men, you probably don't need to read this review. I've bought the Eau de Toilette spray for 15 years. But just tried this Eau de Parfum Intense Spray. Very different fragrance. It has a sweet but almost fruit smell to it. I prefer the Toilette for most days, but this is a nice dress for dinner cologne. I see some people complaining about the price, but you get what you pay for. This is well worth the price.
