Perfect, if you want gauze
This was the basis for my wedding dress. In hind sight, I needed more than I originally ordered, but that was my own fault. To the other reviewers complaining that this was thin or see through: well, yes, this is gauze. It is not suitable as a single layer, and if you're going to use it for clothing, you need multiple layers or gathers in select places. It has a lovely drape, and washed up quite nicely. It didn't ravel nearly as much as I expected, so I'm very pleased with this purchase. That being said, if you don't really know which material is which, go to an in-person shopping location. This is not suitable for every project.

Lovely fabric !
This fabric is to be used for undergarments, a chemise/shift for a Renaissance costume. The weight and body of the fabric is just right. It's not linen, but it is going to work up beautifully. The timely delivery was even better! Thank you!

life saver!
The color is a lot lighter then in the picture. More of a cream. I bought it for a wedding arch and i was lucky enough to get it in 10 continuous yards like I needed! Other places I had ordered from and returned couldn't provide that so next time I will go straight to their sight!

The gauze I bought was the exact color as described, chocolate brown, and the perfect color for my project! It's very soft and cuts easily with no raveling. It arrived promptly as well. Two thumbs up!

Liked the density of the thread count
a little thinner and stiffer than i'd expected, based on other non-high end cotton gauze i've bought. we'll see how it washes up and if it fluffs and softens at all. Might be easier to sew when a bit stiffer, so could be seen as a plus. Liked the density of the thread count, not as trendy as some other gauzes.

Cool, yet strong enough for a garment.
I made a slip to go under thin fabric dresses. Worked very well. Good fabric for the purpose for which I bought it.
