18 Layer Car Cover

I bought this for my GT500 given my fear of water, humidity and sun damage to my paint, I researched heavily into a car cover that I could rely on. From the beginning, I could feel it was well made and good quality with soft inner lining to protect my paint and the material is very thick. The seams have waterproof lining which I love, this makes it water resistant and prevents leakage through the seams which are issues I had with other cheap covers. My sprinklers are usually my main issue as I have hard water in my area but also the sun and am convinced with the UV and sun protection features. We don’t have much wind here but the wind straps are easy to use and secure the cover pretty well. Its easy to put on and the elastic hems at the front and rear make it fit like a glove. One thing I was worried about was the fitment and it fits perfectly. Its been a almost a year and its forsure heavy duty. The door zipper is a smart addition just in case I forget something inside also the lifetime warranty and extra storage bag it came with. Very pleased and highly recommend this car cover!

Here is the update for my older review (below previously under the headline:The cover begins to significantly deteriorate after only six months). Matthew from iCarCover reached out to me to address my previous concern, advising me that they have addressed production issues and that the covers will perform significantly better over time! I was extremely impressed that the company took a genuine concern with my review and reached out to me regarding this. I purchased two of these covers and used one outside since late October 2021 here in CT to cover our Audi RS6. The cover feels durable and worked very well all Winter. Last week I looked at it (end of April so about 5.5 months) and the texture felt grittier and when I looked at it closely I could see it was peeling on the hood and roof- horizontal surfaces in the form of small pinholes appearing in the outer layer. I opened the second new cover and verified that the texture was completely different, the 5.5 month old cover had lost its "sturdy" outer protective feeling and was clearly deteriorating. It says "Lifetime warranty", but no one from the company has returned my messages. The cover is good, but plan to replace it every six months to a year.

After having only used this product for around 6-7 months (on a car rendered mostly unused by COVID unemployment), I noticed some degradation on the side panel of my car cover. This cover was placed on a Cadillac that pretty much remained unused during the entire time the cover was on (i.e.- the cover was not removed, repositioned, nor re-covered during this time and all three included snap-on support straps were used to prevent repositioning from the wind). To be fair, the car the cover was over was 100% unsheltered, outdoors, and exposed to Texas wind, heat, cold, rain, and humidity. The cover itself fit exceptionally well, just like in the product advertising. The three built-in snap-on support straps were strong enough and well positioned enough to keep the wind from repositioning the cover inadvertantly. After the most recent hard freeze at the end of the 'Houston Winter' (a.k.a. the one REALLY nasty day between October and March), I went out to remove the cover and recharge the battery on the car. I noticed as I was taking it off, there was some material degradation on just one of the panels along the sheltered side of the vehicle (see picture- apology for quality). It looked as if the material had started to separate in a pattern resembling stretch marks parallel to the ground. I tried to cover the weak spots with duct tape, but the duct tape had a bit of trouble adhering to the car cover (I guess that's a good thing if you look at it as this product resisting sticky substances). Anyhow, here's the real reason I took time to write a review- I decided to contact iCarCover to discuss what options I had under their 3 year warranty to get the cover repaired. I was rather surprised by their immediate pleasant response, and no hassles honor of their guarantee. Rather than make me jump through hoops and try to make an easy problem hard, they just asked me a few questions and sent me a replacement. I would also like to report that the replacement arrived within 48 hours of my last contact with their customer support staff. For the price, I was already very happy with the car cover (even with the panel degradation), but considering the customer support and honoring of the warranty, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product (if my opinion means anything in the least, and you are still on the fence pondering whether you should purchase one of these or not).

We purchased it to cover our statesman, which it does admirably. We were happy with the strapping system on the cover to hold it in place. Also I’ve found it quite easy to fit to the car, and came with a storage bag when not in use. So far we are happy with the quality, for the purchase price. We now need to test the cover over time and different weather conditions to fully assess it. However it does come with a three year warranty. So at the moment our car is protected from the weather, and damage from bird droppings, leaf and tree sap etc Excellent tracking of the item from the USA, the item was well packed and we received it safely

No issues or concerns anymore!
