Onyx Ultimate Air/Surface Startup Tool Set ONXT1000 Hand Tools Misc

All my boys birthdays are a week apart in May and this year I decided to spend a lot and buy 2 of them 1/10th scale arrma senton 3s blx and my oldest a 5th scale redcat rampage xt (highly recommend all of those rc's). The little Allen wrenches they all come with will do the job but absolutely suck. So I bought these and man do I wish I'd have gotten them when I purchased their rc's. The stored bits on the screw driver fit snug and do not fall off while you're using the tool. Accessing them is about as easy and convenient as you could get and they feel like they are made of good quality durable material. The screw driver itself has great weight to it. The standard and metric nut drivers also feel of good quality. You can adjust the length of the tool as you are using it to better work for your application. I've not used the wrenches yet but can tell they also feel like good quality. Ive went through every fastener on all these rc's and have had every size I needed to do the job. Great kit and I highly recommend these to anyone.

Great product

This tool kit has everything you need for traxxas rc cars and most other rc cars. Works great and the bits seem to hold up great. I like the weight and feel of the bit holder/ handle.

Pros - feels like high quality tool - the storage in the hand tool is great for on the go - fits SCX24 and TRX4M nuts and bolts Cons - hand tool does not ratchet like the one from the Traxxas set - i have had issues with the tools staying in the hand tool part - nut driver does not work well on the SCX24 or TRX4M wheels I have this and the Traxxas kit and overall this feels like a much more solid tool. I would have no problem recommending this or buying this for a friend in the RC hobby.

Bought this tool kit for my 1/24 and 1/10 RC trucks and it’s great. The size is perfect for throwing in a bag and getting out. Has a lot of what you need for repairs on the trail or at home on the bench. Highly recommend for quality and price.

Great starter tool kit. The grip is a little uncomfortable when using the driver but if you're wearing gloves it grips well. It's great for a beginner entering the rc hobby like myself. All the tools necessary are included when upgrading

Works perfect for the RC mechanic. Has nearly all the tools you need to repair and replace parts. I'd say it would be a little better if it had a set of needle nose pliers! Makes it easier for pulling slide pins out! Other than that, this kit has all you need!

I love this tool set! Hoping that the black cap seal stays pushed into place for a while because without that the bits will fall out so in time we'll see but as a set i love how versatile it is. I use it to work on my Arrma RC cars and haven't had an issue with them fitting the screws.

Great set of beginners rc tools in a nice zip case but just a heads up the hex tips won't last long, I changed out all 4 suspension arms on an SC10 Pro4 and the 1.5 and 2 hex tips are shot but the nut driver tips are well built so the set is worth it until you get a set of quality hex tools. For months this set was sold for around 25 cdn and for that price its worth it but now it's almost double that so it's not a value. At that price you may as well spring the extra for quality tools that last longer then 1 - 2 repair jobs. 5 star rating if its under 30 cdn pesos

Great take anywhere tool kit. Case is included and make storing all the pieces easy and organized. Perfect to through in the trail pack when heading out for the day. Highly recommend this set for the 1/10 scale rigs and others.

Hand driver and hex bits are of good quality. Wrench set has difficulty fitting into tight areas. Nut drivers are thick, socket fitment is good though. Storage case is very nice also has some extra holding spots zipper is rugged. Overall I'm very pleased with this toolkit.

This is a must have especially if you tinker with rc cars. I nring it with me to all my events and meet up's. Has everything you need for tool kit
