Hareline Fly Tyers Spool/Stash Box

It's great for organizing spools of thread, floss, or wire for fly tying.

I love these things. I have 3. Don’t overthink it, they are worth the money.

No complaints. When I fill it up I will buy another.

This is a great spool box. I use them to store all my threads, veevus, utc, etc. I’ve read some reviews that said the foam stained their thread, I haven’t had that issue at all. So I’m not sure if maybe hareline changed the type of foam or something, but that shouldn’t be a problem. I also like that the foam holds everything tightly so there isn’t any rattling around. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future.

These work as expected, but they feel rattly compared to the Wapsi offering. The foam cutout isn't adhered to the box at all, so all the spools have room to rattle. This in no way hinders the performance of the box, in fact it may be a boon to the storage of wire spools sin the foam strip grips a narrower point on the spools themselves, but it still feels sturdy than the competition.

Holds 40 spools of material fairly securely

I had planned to buy 3 of these. 1 for classic threads, 1 for GSP type threads and 1 for wire and tinsel. After reading reviews about stained thread, I ordered just 1 to check out and I'm glad I did. There were to spools of thread in the container when it arrived and they are stained with black spots. Guess this will just be for wire.Find a different foam, Hareline. The dye is leaching out of this stuff and people are not happy.
