Classic Home & Garden Alena 12" Planter, Indoor Outdoor Decorative Plant Pot with Drainage, Weathered Copper

For anyone reviewing this as flimsy, consider the price and the material. I'm not sure what you're expecting, but this isn't brittle, it isn't thin, and it doesnt seem anything it shouldn't be. It IS easy on the bank account, and it is quite sturdy. It's very lightweight, and has a nice depth to width ratio. For not being ceramic it sure looks the part, which is the whole point. Update 3-22: just want to say that these are still going strong after two seasons being indoors and outdoors, or both. I've had expensive ceramic and clay pots that haven't lasted as long.

However, the colors were not that well accented, meaning the pot was rather dark in appearance.

The color is weathered copper, but the material is resin. Which I did not see that it was made out of resin. I thought it was made out of copper. So a disappointment there. But for the price, the pot is actually really cute. So I will keep it. So not really disappointed. It is on me, as I read it incorrectly.

I like the color, a old world looking. It would be nice to offer the same pot but in more colors. I love the heavier pots and their looks but sometimes, they’re just too hard to handle. I appreciate this pot being lightweight but having some design to it and not being a typical, cheap-looking plastic pot.

Planter is actually made better than expected for $16.49. Sturdy composite (plastic?) and dimensions for opening & height are precisely as advertised- a HUGE plus with planters. This item would have been 5 stars but the depiction of the item is not what you get. 1) Though the dimensions of opening & height are correct, the shape is more narrow than the photos lead you to believe, making it less stable and more apt to tip over than expected. -2 stars 2) I honestly didn’t expect the faux paint job to be exact or perfect, but I did expect at least a somewhat similar look to the planter advertised. Nope 👎 not even close. -2 stars NOTE: I even tried squinting my eyes to see if that would help it look like the one in the photo of the planter advertised. IF they were going for honesty/integrity, (evidently characteristics of a bygone era), the item would be listed as follows: “Narrow, black planter with very random gold (not copper) splotches that we are calling ‘weathered copper’ because it sounds so lovely & expensive. Definitely going to tip over with most plants due to narrowing circumference down to 6 1/4 inch base which makes it top heavy.” So if you desire a planter that is 9 inches tall with a 12 inch opening that narrows down to a 6 1/4 inch base, and the faux weathered copper paint job isn’t even in the realm of weathered copper, or any copper for that matter, then this planter will fit the bill perfectly-

Had to repot a plant into a bigger pot. This one is decor neutral, lightweight, works well. Indoor plant pot, but seems sturdy, not going to crack and break.

These are basically brown with a bit of a sponge paint effect. No visible blue, disappointed in the look but had to use them anyway no one else will know.

This planter adds a touch of colorful class to complement your plants. It is well made and of good quality.
