Vlieseline/Vilene Volume Fleece Fusible H640 90cm - White - Per Metre

This was recommended by Debbie Shore on YouTube and I am overjoyed with it. Now don't judge my dodgy sewing, it's all very new to me. But this interfacing has been perfect to use in making these wee backpacks and tote bag. It adheres so well to my cotton fabric and it doesn't take long to iron it on. I didn't run my iron over it like I was trying to iron out wrinkles, but pressed it firmly in one spot for a few seconds, then moved the iron over to the next spot, pressed firmly for a few seconds and so on. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with it lifting or detaching from my fabric. It sews really easily through my sewing machine and I honestly can say that I have had no issues with it at all. My only gripe is how expensive it is. It works out quite expensive per bag when you add it all up together. But...that's just the way it is. Until the unlikely day that Vlieseline/Vilene want to Sponsor me and send me rolls of the stuff for free, I'm just gonna have to pay up like everyone else, lol. I do highly recommend this product though.

This is perfect for my use ( making bowl Cosy’s ). I did struggle to get it to stick to the material by ironing it, even on the highest temperature but I’ve had the same issue with other types of iron on fabric as well so it probably isn’t to do with this one. It is quite an expensive material too but you always have to pay for quality.

I ordered this as I had a bag pattern that needed this and I was new to using any sort of quilting products so after a long time reading reviews and different products I ordered this and it was perfect, ironed well onto fabric, great to see with (used a walking foot in my machine) and gives the bag substance without being bulky, I'll definitely order more

Great to cut into shapes to match pattern pieces. I ironed it on and left it to cool, but unless kept very flat I found it did peel back a bit whilst I was making up the bag. However, because it is stiffer than batting for quilts it says together enough to sew with just a couple of pins in the centre. I ordered three lots (making a lot of bags) and one lot came vacuum packed in a letter sized envelope, very impressive!

It had the stability and extra loft that I wanted for interfacing my fabric lining in the oven mitts that I made. I bought extra to have available for another project since there was a significant shipping charge from the UK.
