Lawn Magic Premium Lawn Feed 5L, Double Action Formula for Greener Grass and Stronger Roots

Absolutely brilliant lawn fertiliser. I used this on my lawn after a prolonged dry spell which had turned the grass to straw. I applied after the first spell of rain in weeks and saw a visibly greener lawn within a matter of days. An expensive product but if you want a green lush lawn then this is the product.

After just one application we immediately saw an improvement to our lawn. It's now greener and thicker. Aditionally, it's reassuring to know the grass roots will be stronger too. Be careful not to spill as it will scortch the lawn, if accidently you drip it on neat! I believe it can stain patios too but of course, this will be no problem if you are careful. We've already bought another container full... our lawn has never looked better. It's very healthy now. Our next plan is to water the lawn with a drop of whiskey in the watering can... so that the grass comes up 'half cut'...! Not sure that will work but seriously, as for Lawn Magic.. it's a superb product, that genuinely does work!

Really gives a green lush lawn

It has an NPK ratio of 15-0-0 so it doesn't do anything to strengthen roots as claimed, but will make the grass very green. This won't result in a healthy lawn, but it will look nice for a while. Long term, you will need to use more and more of it. Good if you have done a soil test first which has shown adequate presence of P and K but otherwise better to stick with a low P and medium K ratio feed in summer and a low N in autumn. Best would be to get a cheap soil test kit and fertilise based on that. Totally unsuitable as an autumn feed when you absolutely do not want high N. Good if used properly but poorly marketed.

For the last 30 years I've used the very well-known granular feed on my lawn with great results - in the places I managed to get the dosage right! The rest of the lawn had either burnt patches or I'd missed! And then usually there would be no rain for weeks after and my whole lawn would be scorched, as in the first photo that was taken this time last year. I know the weather has been a lot wetter this year, but to be honest my lawn hadn't recovered much from that. A few months ago I bought another liquid feed from here that came in a bottle that attached to the hose to spray it. That bottle was great for spreading, but the product did nothing. So when I bought this I filled the that bottle and attached to the hose to spread. The second photo is about 3 weeks after using it. The 3rd photo is tonight after I fed it again last week - for some reason on the worst side of my garden I decided to use the correct dosage in a watering can - only to realise when I started to pour it that there was no spray head on the watering can, duh! so I just poured it waving the bottle from side to side. And if you look at the right side of the lawn just to the left of the white flowers you can see the dark green wiggly line I made, ha! So maybe the bottle I'm using isn't giving the correct dosage, but it has really greened up, doesn't seem to be any extra growth though, Im still only cutting it once a week. Obviously it will not burn or scorch the grass, and it seems the more you use the darker green the grass. I've got a big lawn, used it twice, and have half the bottle left. I will be buying this again.
