Ok first of all, WOW. This horn is absolutely gorgeous. I am super satisfied with my purchase for the following reasons; Appearance: Whoever polished this horn put a lot of time and effort into it because this horn is flawless from the top to bottom. They mean it when they do their best to pick the best horns to use for this because this horn has the perfect shape It actually is very stable in its stand: so my horn fits in its stand very well and can easily be taken off for when I want to take a sip. I placed this horn in its stand on my desk and it always falls right into place, once I even stumbled on that desk and the desk wobbled, despite that, the horn stayed in its stand and didn’t topple over so they do put a lot of effort to make sure the stand fits the horn perfectly. And yes, it’s a real horn: I know lying is common when it comes to online shopping but I assure you guys, this horn is real and you are gonna like it.

Mine came with no flaws and I absolutely LOVE IT! I'm sort of a snob when if comes to Viking collectibles and definitely approve of the look/quality of this one. The Frenris wolf on the bottom does it for me.

First, this as a quality horn. I got the unadorned, plain and polished one. One thing was the thickness of the horn at one point in the rim was a touch on the thin side. I think it's manageable. Secondly, the lacquer used to seal the horn does have a smell. You will be sent care and prep directions on how to eliminate the smell. In short, fill it with water, add some lemon juice and let it sit overnight, then wash with soap and water. However, once the smell is gone, it's perfectly fine to have a drink from. I quite enjoy drinking my mead from this horn. It comes with a stand, but it could use some tweaking to have the horn sit better. As is, mine leans forward a little bit. Not enough to cause it to tip, but just enough to cause consternation. The hole cut in the stand could use a little shaping for each individual horn to have it sit more upright and more stably. Nothing a dremel can't fix, but wear breathing protection, as you don't want to breathe in horn dust.

Exceptional quality. Way better than I imagined it! This is my 3rd horn and I should've bought this one from the start. Highly recommend!

Really, the product is everything you think its going to be: a drinking horn for unwashed, viking barbarians. So, really, its my fault for expecting anything more from this wonderfully impractical wall ornament. When you get this item it may dawn on you that the smell of horn, the impossibility of thoroughly cleaning it, and inability to set it down because of the absolutely useless stand will probably leave you reaching for a glass instead. There are much things to be had for this price. Also, the brass ring around the lip of the horn is really cheap, doesn't fit it well and looks better and preventing you from cleaning it than showing of your wealth as a viking warlord. That being said, if you don't care about practicality, its awesome. It's a bit expensive for a gag gift, but it does make an EPIC gag gift. It looks legit, especially from a distance (as you would see it as a prop, or buried in a manly beard dripping with lukewarm mead across the high-top at your local saloon) and the quality seems pretty good overall. The polish is really nice, it comes in a cool bag. I liked it. However, though I'd give it 5 stars as a gag gift, as a practical thing that someone would actually use, I have to give it dismal 1 star. As a result, I just averaged it out at 3. Thanks for a good laugh, sorry I had to return it.

My bf has very reserved reactions for gifts he likes and this gift received one of the biggest reactions he’s ever given. He absolutely loved it. The quality is great and honestly I was so impressed with what arrived. It didn’t smell weird, it look gorgeous. My biggest “complaint” is it sits a little weird in the holder, but really it doesn’t bother me or him at all. 10/10 worth the price and I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

These are amazing. Bought them for our groomsmen and they’re such high quality and all unique. One even came in white, which will be the grooms! We love them and highly recommend!

I always really wanted one of these , but I was a bit unsure with this one at first because it's made in India and the price. It's worth looking past that, because it is very cool looking and well made. Good size, good weight and imperfect in a natural looking way. If you are humming and haa ing, id say its worth it!

From never having owned a drinking horn, yet always wanting one, I have to say that purchasing this one was a great choice. The craftsmanship is of a very high quality, and I can tell I will have long years of enjoying it. Knowing that the horns are collected ethically is also a wonderful bonus.

Nicht 100%. Genau wie ich es bei einem Naturprodukt wie diesem auch erwartet habe und wie man es auch erwarten sollte. Der Beschlag und die Verzierung sind gut montiert, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Der Wolfskopf unten ist separat aufgeschraubt, könnte also theoretisch auch ausgetauscht werden. Ansonsten sollte man diesen evtl zur Sicherheit mit Schraubensicherung fixieren damit man lange Freude daran hat. Von innen bin ich noch Mal mit lebensmittelgeeignetem Lack durch gegangen, da der Geruch des natürlichen Horns nachdem Flüssigkeit drin war doch noch sehr stark durch kam. Ich schätze, hier wurde möglicherweise am Lack etwas gespart. In Anbetracht des grandiosen Preis Leistungsverhältnisses insgesamt, stellt das aber für mich kein Problem dar. Das Horn hat sowohl leer als auch gefüllt stand in seinem Halter, halt allerdings nicht. Es steht halt, am Tisch wackeln darf man dann aber nicht mehr. Was aber ja der gesunde Menschenverstand schon beim Betrachten der Produktbilder erkennen dürfte. Das einzige was mich ein wenig stutzig macht ist, was der Hersteller unter unpoliert versteht. Ich würde das eher "Teilpoliert" nennen, oder so. Lediglich stärkere Rillen im Horn sind nicht poliert. Da mache ich jetzt aber keinen Aufstand drum, da das Teil einfach der Knaller ist, genau so wie es ist.
