Anthony's Organic Red Rooibos Loose Leaf Tea, 1 lb, Gluten Free, Non GMO, Non Irradiated, Keto Friendly

I'm trying to move away from prepackaged teas and looking for good, loose alternatives. I've used Anthony's branded products before and am a fan. I love red rooibos anyway, as they have a warm vanilla tobacco smell/profile (to me), and I love all things vanilla tobacco. I'm so glad I tried it, as this one is marvelous. You get a pound for less than $20 as of this review. It is gluten-free, has no weird fillers or additives, and it is naturally caffeine-free. I have fine mesh metal screens that I use in my mugs. I take 2-4 spoonfuls, depending on the size of the mug, and add it to the screen as it sits in the hot water. I let it steep for a few minutes, and it is good to go. It has a gorgeous red/brown color and delicious flavor, and I can get 2-3 reuses out of the leaves. If I want another cup, I will take the screen with the used tea and apply it to the same mug with new water. I end up with an equally robust flavor. So overall, it is a great deal when you consider how many cups of tea I will get out of a 1lb bag. I will continue to buy. And based on this experience, I've opted to get a couple of other flavors to see how they taste.

I love Organic Red Rooibos. The taste is smooth and subtly sweet, whether served warm or cold, it can be enjoyed either temperature range! Loose leaf tea has this pure quality and you avoid any microplastics in the process which can improve your overall well-being as well! It is caffeine free and a great addition to any tea lover's pantry!

Nice product for a good price, I used to buy locally but the place I purchased from in bulk closed down. I enjoy having some in the evenings as a caffeine free alternative instead of some other herbal tisanes to switch it up but I've never been a fan of the flavored versions. Heart health benefits are a plus but I don't drink it specifically for that, but it is good to talk to your doctor if you're on some blood pressure meds while drinking this. I don't really measure the amount I'm using, I usually just grab a normal sized spoon and add a heaping spoonful and let steep for maybe 5 mins and the next round longer, but you can't really oversteep rooibos.

Great smell and flavor. Loose tea leaves definitely make a better cup of tea.

This is the first time I've purchase Rooibos tea. I've always been very pleased with my purchases from Anthony's, and this time is no exception. The tea is clean, smells fresh, and tastes great!!

Tea appears to be a good quality. Only issue is it is so finely chopped that it seeps through the strainer so I have to use a coffee filter to brew it with

My favorite tea. I discovered that this tea lowers blood pressure. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. Blood pressure dropped way too low. When I figured out it was the tea, I stopped taking the BP meds. I am on a much lower dose of meds now. I am happy that I am getting off the BP meds thanks to this great tasting tea. Also, tea is caffeine free, I have gotten off the caffeine as well. Will always buy this tea! Highly recommend to anyone who has hypertension.

I had zero idea what red rooibos was until I decided to research it recently. I wanted to start making loose leaf herbal tea and seen that it was a popular option. As soon as I opened the bag it smelled like tobacco to me. It is very fine and powder like. After making a hot cup of it, the taste is very similar to normal sweet/unsweetened tea, which I enjoy. I usually don’t add anything extra when I make hot tea other than the tea itself, but I might try it with a little honey, because I feel like it would complement it. Red rooibos has natural health properties, which is a plus. Overall I’m impressed with it and the brand in general. The quality and quantity is superb. Would definitely buy again.

This product makes a great cup of tea. I had Roobois when in South Africa now it’s the only tea I drink. It has a great taste and love the fact I can drink it before bed because it’s 100% caffeine free. Great size pack that will last a while.
