Vibrant Colors on a Budget
As someone who loves experimenting with hair colors, finding an easy, affordable, and non-damaging option has been a game-changer. The Kiss Tintation Semi-Permanent Hair Color Treatment, priced at just $6, has become my go-to choice for a vibrant and stress-free hair color journey. I have purchased several colors - Platinum, Pinks, Teals, Dark Brown-Black and they DID NOT disappoint! Ease of Use: One of the standout features of the Kiss Tintation is its incredible ease of use. The application process is straightforward, making it an ideal option for anyone, regardless of their hair coloring experience. The creamy consistency ensures even distribution, and the product's user-friendly nature allows for hassle-free at-home coloring. I never experienced stains on my counters or walls even when my hair dying experience was pretty messy (not the product's fault, I am just sometimes kind of sloppy with my hair dye). Budget-Friendly Bliss: At a mere $6, the price of the Kiss Tintation is unbeatable. For those who love experimenting with hair colors but don't want to break the bank, this semi-permanent option provides an affordable and accessible solution without compromising on quality. Furthermore, the dye washes after several uses leaving your hair to be the clean canvas it was prior to the impulse decision of dying your hair pink! The color fades gradually and evenly which means even with one dye you can get several looks within a month! When I tried the berry pink shade I went from intense pink to rosegold overtime and I absolutely LOVED IT!!! Non-Damaging and Box Dye Alternative: In my non-professional opinion, the Kiss Tintation does not seem to damage the hair. It offers a great alternative to traditional box dyes, eliminating the risks associated with harsh chemicals. This makes it a safer option for those who want to switch up their hair color monthly without committing to a permanent change or suffering the drawbacks of ammonia dyes and unpredictable results of box dyes. With this product, you get the color you paid for every time! (results may vary based on your base shade, I used all the colors I purchased over light (not bleached) blonde hair) Fragrant Experience: Unlike typical box dyes, the Kiss Tintation also surprised me with its delightful scent. The pleasant fragrance adds a touch of luxury to the coloring process, making it a more enjoyable and sensory experience. I have always experienced major issues with box dyes that make me feel dizzy after spending 20-ish minutes in an enclosed space applying the product. Not the case here! The semi-permanent dye comes with a nice fresh smell. Color Longevity and Poolside Caution: The longevity of the color can vary. In my experience, it lasted a month under normal circumstances, but a few weeks only during a particularly active summer spent in the pool.

Color: Rose gold
#1. The first time I used this, it was too dark and I didn't like it. #2. I have reddish hair. I bleached it with Manic Panic Blue Lightning about 3 times, but it wasnt super light. Then I put some Manic Panic Virgin Snow toner on it for 25 minutes. Much to my surprise, it came out quite white, kind of a metallic chrome, very blah. So I needed color. I mixed some of this stuff (which, unlike Manic Panic, is semi-permanent, so I have to be careful), about 3 or 4 Tbp and added maybe 3 teaspoons of pastel-sizer. Then I glopped it on my hair, mixed it around, combed it through and left it for 20 minutes. It came out pleasantly rosy golden. Anyway, I like it. I'm going to try to leave a photo. Note: I only color the top front of my hair, just so I have shiny forelocks.

This hair dye is IT - I have found my go-to!
Okay, y'all - I'm about to rave! I have been dying my hair crazy colors for years, so I've used a lot of different brands. Right before discovering Kiss Tintation, I had used Arctic Fox for the first time and found the results to be decent, but lame. I normally go for pink-toned crimson reds, so the first color I used was Crimson from Kiss after randomly discovering it in Dollar General. It was cheap, so why not? My hair was already so boring, it couldnt make it any worse. I am telling you, that Crimson LIT MY HAIR UP! Vibrancy TOP KNOTCH. Not only was the end result perfect and spectacular, I fell in love with the Kiss formula. Crimson is very similar to Flaming Orange in viscosity and texture. When I first saw how transparent Crimson was, I thought, "huh!?!" Because I am so used to thicker, opaque formulas like Manic Panic, Arctic Fox, etc. At first, I thought it was weird, but now I realize how perfect it is for at-home hair dye. The thicker dyes can be hard to saturate fully through your hair, but with the Kiss colors, it's SO EASY due to the gel-like consistency. And the SMELL!? It's so good, I dream about it! THE BEST TRICK TO SATURATE YOUR HAIR AND AVOID PATCHINESS IS TO BRUSH THE DYE THROUGH YOUR HAIR. I do this with box dye as well. As you can see, I have thick, long hair. I use about half of the 5oz bottles of the Kiss Tintation. I always get away with using ONE bottle of product by brushing meticulously. The color in my photo is Flaming Orange, as I recently decided to go to the more orange/fire toned red. Both Crimson and Flaming Orange are Level 5 and worked perfectly for my hair. The second photo is when I used Crimson. I started off with box dye based in colors that were the tone I was looking for, with my root and regrowth being dirty blonde. My hair isn't crazily lightened - just processed by the box dye. When I have Color Oopsed my hair, underneath I always have a lightish blonde ginger hair. Point being, this dye is potent and vibrant even on darker hair. My colors in the sunlight are out of this world - I get heads turning toward me all the time 😂 Seriously, I LIVE FOR THIS DYE. The other colors I have used were Neon Orange, right before the Flaming. I knew Neon would wash out of my hair quickly, so bought Flaming at the same time. The Neon was FUN! But, as suspected, didnt quite last, but on very lightened hair, it will be amazing. My brother used Jet Black on virgin hair which DID NOT work. Washed all out, but I think that's to be expected. I'm obsessed and hope they never stop selling it! I want to try more colors! The consistency is great, smell 100%, staying power is lengthy and the results are ridiculously vibrant and beautiful! Out of all my years of trying dye, I think this is the best one so far. And the PRICE!?! COME ON. Doesn't get better. I now only spend about $15 to do my own hair and get really amazing results!

Hair Color That's Worth a Try.
I received a new bottle of this hair color with a prominent claim purporting, "Consumer's Choice #1 *Focus group result", as well as "Lasts up to 30 shampoos". What exactly do these vague claims mean? Does it mean that this hair color will hold its initial color and be bold and vibrant until the 31st shampoo? Does it mean that the color will hold, but fade until it is finally as faded as it will get at the 31st shampoo? Nowhere can I find any information that elucidates this claim or what exactly they mean by it. The other claim about this being a #1 consumer's choice has an asterisk which leads to the back of the bottle and says, "Based on internal consumer testing of 30 people for long lasting and intent to purchase over 4 weeks". Ok, so a group of 30 people that you internally tested claimed they would intend to purchase this over 4 weeks? And what does testing of 30 people for long lasting mean? As with this claim, I can find no further clarifying information. This bottle also claims it's a new formula, but doesn't elaborate on what is NEW about the formula. Where's the evidence this color lasts up to 30 shampoos, and where can I find any information about all of these things that explains what they claim?? What I can tell you from my own personal experience with using this dye is that it absolutely WILL fade after your first wash, not to an extreme degree, but it will be noticeable. I've included photos of my hair dyed with Pink Mania, Lime Light, Atomic Pink, Cyan, Orchid, Hawaiian Fire and Vivid Violet. The photos are unedited and not photoshopped. The photos of my hair in the first two collages are dyed with Pink Mania immediately after I initially dyed my hair and dried it. It looked like how I would expect it to after weeks of multiple washes; which is faded. It was nowhere near as vibrant as it looked when the dye was on, or in the swatch. I saturated my hair in the dye, left it on for at least 30 minutes each time and even dyed it repeatedly to try to get it to show up with a more bold color. It didn't help. The color was patchy in areas and didn't take in spots (not sure if this was due to the dye or my hair, but I bleached my hair pretty blonde). I wouldn't necessarily mind the color if I were going for a cotton candy, almost pastel color but I was expecting what the swatch was. Someone commented on my hair and said they liked the "peach color". So I would say that if you want a lighter, pastel-ish pink, then this dye is for you. My current hair color is Vivid Violet, and while this color is still a nice color, the Violet did NOT turn out at all. This color is second to how disappointing Pink Mania was, in that the color did not take in places, or show up how it should have. In the photo I posted, I circled the very front top part of my hair that actually came out violet, whereas the rest of the color was more of a grape color and if you look at the top of my head you can see how it's much lighter in the upper left area and underneath. Amazon refunded me for this Pink Mania because I was not satisfied with it, but honestly this company should've stepped up and offered me a refund or a replacement for it. So far I've dyed my hair with 8 of their dyes. All of them had a more bold, vibrant color but in my opinion, Pink Mania was disappointing in how it turned out, and while Vivid Violet was a nice color, it was not violet except in one small patch. I would say that for the most part, the dyes are pretty good. They're bright and colorful and for the price, they're worth trying out. They should include photos of real-life models that have their hair dyed the specific color they're selling so people can see what it really looks like. Thankfully there are reviewers here who have done that so you can try to get a sense of what it will look like. If you are going for the brightest, boldest color, make sure that you get the highest level bleach and developer and lighten your hair as much as possible. Use a toner to get rid of any yellow or orange from bleaching it. Otherwise the dye won't show up the same color and it will look faded and the color will be off. Also, remember when looking at the hair dye swatches and photos of the hair color, they won't be exactly the same in real life. The device you're using to look at the color on is going to alter the color somewhat, as well as the photos taken of the hair color i.e., whether the photo was taken indoors without light, indoors with a flash, outdoors in direct sunlight, etc., and whether the photo was photoshopped or edited, and what color the person's hair was lightened to (if at all) when they dyed their hair.

MIS-REPRESENTING NAME TITLE
Kiss Tintation,Semi-Permanent color: GunMetal Gray...a new product to me that was long waited for! However it is no better than a lightweight rinse for white hair at that. My hair is graying on top of my head and I have been using semi-permanent rinses by Jazzing and Clairol to darken my roots. For now, rinses are my preference only because of dollar/ money factor. If I could afford to go to a professional hair colorist I would, but since it is not a one-time thing and requires touch-ups on a regular basis it is out of my spending range right now. So, I am always searching for an effective semi-permanent rinse that goes on and adheres to the hair as represented on the package labeling. Hence, GunMetal Gray says to me "dark gray" and that is what I wanted. It does not state: "bleaching required for successful color results" or anything like that at all. On my un-dyed roots hair I applied as directed, left it on for hours, rinsed, and nothing......nothing....nothing. It did not take. Not in the slightest. Anyone who has a suggestion or recommendation....I'm listening. This hair rinse product is likely to be effective on platinum or light blond hair, but I doubt if it has a level of intensity. I could be wrong. Again, if anyone wants to comment on my experience, please do. Thank you Amazon for supplying this product even though it was not a success event for me personally. BTW...in the 60's Clairol had a product: Glorious Grays....colors: Smoke, Platinum and other titles i can't recall right now. I used "Smoke" on my mother's hair and it was gorgeous! Not on the market anymore :( In the 80's I discovered Jazzing in the color "Taupe Smoke" that I used for myself, and in my dreams I find it again since it is not on the market anymore :( . Maybe Amazon can wave it's magic wand and let Clairol know that they could corner the market today and make a mint if these 2 products were to return. Hint. Thank you Amazon for listening.

Just okay, washed out way too fast
I really wanted to love this dye. The red washed out of my daughter’s hair on the first wash. The day we used the color looked great. Rinsed out really well and the color was fine enough. It was patchy, but I figured that’s just because of how she lightened it. A few days later, she gets out of the shower and the red is completely gone. She has pink at the roots and the rest is faded to nothing. I used a blue color and have yet to wash my hair for the first time, so we’ll see how it goes. My hair was a much lighter blonde to start, so it will be a true test. Definitely won’t be purchasing again.

super vibrant
i wanted a darker red, but honestly it looks pretty accurate to the hair color level chart the strand i did it on was lvl 6 (very dark/orange blonde, after 1 bleach on dark hair) and it turned out this color! super vibrant in the sun :) it bleeds A LOT and probably wont last, will update on how long the dye lasts with no refreshes. note: this dye will not show up on dark hair at all. for it to work that way, you would need a developer or to bleach it before hand. i think people aren’t reading descriptions beforehand and that’s the reason for all the bad reviews lol

Hawaiian Fire? More like Hawaiian 🔥FLAMES🔥 (but skip the Swamp Black)
Listen. I’ve dyed my hair so many colors I’m basically a human Skittles bag at this point. So when I stumbled across these fantasy colours by Kiss Tintation, I thought, “Well hey, I trust Kiss with my nails—why not my scalp too?” And let me tell you: Hawaiian Fire and Salmon? Absolute bangers. 🔥🍣 I bought three so far: Hawaiian Fire, Salmon, and Jet Black. For about $6 each, you get 5 fl oz of glorious, aloe vera-infused hair happiness. That’s a steal compared to the $14 heartbreak that is one tiny jar of Manic Panic. ✨THE GOOD: Vibrant color payoff without needing your hair to be bleached into submission. Smells way better than most dyes. Hair feels conditioned and soft after rinsing—not like hay in a heatwave. With dye-safe shampoo and cool water, Hawaiian Fire and Salmon lasted me over 6 weeks and faded gracefully. Not patchy. Not crusty. Just a slow, soft fade into lighter tones that still looked cute. 😬THE “meh” part: Jet Black came in looking mysterious and brooding... but ghosted me after two washes. And by wash #4? My hair had an odd greenish tint, like I rinsed it in swamp water. It was giving Shrek, not sleek. So if you’re here for bold fantasy shades, this is your sign to go bright, not black. 🌿 Bonus: It’s aloe vera water-based (not just regular water!), and packed with hair-friendly ingredients like argan oil, olive oil, collagen, and keratin. You feel the difference. No straw hair, no itchy scalp, just soft, sassy color. So if you’re looking for bold color on a not-so-bold budget: go get yourself Hawaiian Fire and Salmon. Just tell Jet Black I said “thanks, but no thanks.”
